I'm having the same problem now, working yesterday just fine, woke up this morning and it wouldn't work, put it to Standard Definition to try and reset it as such, and now it won't go back to HDMI at all, tried on another TV, same problem, tried other HDMI cables, same problem.

 

Tried to change the Tv Connection Type to "HDMI" and it says "Unable to apply settings. Check that your TV is on, ad that the TV and console are properly connected."

Try plugging in both the component and HDMI cables perhaps?

 

Also try looking in the HDMI port, making sure there isn't any dust/debris stuck (give it a good ol' blow like in the N64 days x3 )

I actually have an idea, but it might not be something you will all be warm to. Another forum I am on, 3DS Buzz has recently been dying, mainly due to inactivity and Adam is too busy to do anything about it, so he has got me to see if people were up for me taking over the forum and merging it with my blog, NintyBuzz. My idea would be the possibility of merging this forum with the 3DS Buzz forum all under the NintyBuzz name.

My plan for NintyBuzz is to make it more user orientated with articles and stuff like that. But obviously I understand if you don't want to go ahead with a merger... Plus there's the difficult task of actually getting Feld0's approval... Though he may say yes seeing how he is a former admin of 3DS Buzz back it its glory days.

What are your opinions on this?

Don't put the cart before the horse. There really isn't any sense in asking users if no one else inquired to Feld0 about making changes. The OP of this thread hasn't responded here since making the thread and some of the others have said they would like a revamped forum with NX focus. If those interested are not going to take the initiative to make contact then it's pretty much a lost cause.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a cool idea. But the problem is Feld0, lol. Attempts have been made before to update the forums to more or less "future proof" them aka NX, he said he would do so if users were interested. I told him they were and never heard back. This is just one instance.

Don't worry I know, once he left the Buzz staff he was pretty much never heard from again

Personally I find Valentine's Day a waste of time. Not only does it make people inconsiderate to their single friends on social networks by them going crazy with the VD selfies but it also proves how pathetic some people are that they show their love because big corporations tell you too. Surely you should show affection like you do on Valentine's Day more regularly than once every 364 days... also someone I loved convinced me they committed suicide on Valentine's Day a few years ago, so for those who bother about me hating on it, I actually have a good reason to.

The New 3DS won't become compatible with Amiibos this February... it currently IS compatible
