Ninty has me over a barrel with having some of the greatest gaming franchise out there, so if the games are right i am all the way in.

^^^Yeap,£11 for half the main game in dlc is a bragain, Nintendo keep this type of DLC and price  over the lifetime of the Wii-U they will have my money in a heartbeat.

^^Won't a bigger HDD draw more amps/volts, and won't this also affect the way the HDD performs, slow in spinning up due to lack of power.

I had no idea the Wii-U could power that size of HDD, i though that a 320gig, which i use, was the max load the Wii-U could power over the usb ports without straining the Wii-U's PSU.

There is a reset button, Nintendo just pressed it and the reboot will be finished in 2016 with the NX.

I hope so, i would love the NX to be BC with Wii-U, plus if they make all the peripherals bc as well as they did like the last time, then that would be the best outcome.

But i am not in the market for a whole new system that ditches everything from the last, that is why i have not touched the XB1 or PS4, i got too much digital dlc to simply just go onto the next system, i don't think i have played 25% of the game sitting on the 360/ps3, and don't even start me on the steam games back log. lol

Yeap no sale here either, i have stopped all digital purchese on the Wii-U on anything above £10 now, no point anymore spending £40 on digital games when the system is already winding down.

I just played some of the new DLC tracks on Mario Kart, nobody can now tell me the Wii-U is not next gen or not powerful enough to pull of jaw dropping games, i am already playing them.

The problem now is, what games are coming out that would sell the system before the NX comes in for the kill, i can only think of Zelda, assuming it's still coming to the U,  i don't think Starfox U is going to do big numbers as it looks from the trailers somewhat meh, and Xenoblade Chronicles X appears to be another meh game if reviews from the import version are anything to go by.

It does feel like the wind down of the U has begun, sad but at least we got some quailty first party games to fall back on, U will sit next to my dreamcast, assuming the gamepad still work in 10 years time.

Lol.

But in a way, that screen shot is, the fatal frame, of the Wii-U's usefulness

for nintendo. (groan).

Talk about pointless, BTTF was already on the wii, and who wants story minecraft over actual minecraft, the wii-u's journey to obscurity continues unfettered. lol

Is it just me or does the contoller actions and what happens on the tv just seem somewhat off.
