Cry havoc and unleash the dogs of war!
At least there is support from Activision. Hopefully they include Destiny.

Wii U first, then save up and buy a PS4. Best of both worlds.

At my local GAME store it had call of duty ghost in the wii u section.
The pre-order (mock up) box? Should have taken a photo.

Everytime Pachter opens his mouth crap spews out. He never has anything legitimate to say. How the hell did that idiot get his job?
Because huge conglomerates pay him to predict sales, so if they keep paying, he has a job, unfortunately.

An achievement/trophy/accomplishment system similar to those on Xbox Live and Steam. Cross-game chat would also be really cool.
Achievements from Nintendo 1st part games should come in the form of characters. For instance if it's a Mario game you are playing there is a Mario character to complete/build by completing challenges in the game. For each challenge completed (it gives you a piece) if you get all the pieces, then you are the proud owner of Mario a achievement/trophy .
Just a thought.

Really? Are you really that surprised that it was deleted? I mean, why did you pick it in the first place? Was it because it was controversial, or was it because of personal status?
I applaud Nintendo and its foresight to know that the parent of their ten year old shouldn't see a message left in the Super Mario Bros U progress Miiverse feature by a "STDVirus."
What about a message left in Super Mario Bros U Miiverse by Dead Bunny? Is that not questionable. "Look mummy Dead Bunny..."

Alright so I just read an article that stated Nintendo is thinking of implementing a reward system not unlike the Achievement system on Xbox or the trophy system on PS3 and was wondering if anyone else heard this rumour? The article stated that they will reveal this at E3 in a few weeks.
Also IF Nintendo actually does this would you hunt for them?
I would intensely hunt for them hoping to stay in the top 100 worldwide
Do you have a link to the article?

I'll just stick with my Xbox 360 and Wii U for the time being. Oh and my OUYA (when it traps) for indie games. At £429, I would have to sell a kidney, a liver, and donate something special to the fertility labs to be able to buy one at launch.

So don't rip the CR-P out of me, this is just a crazy idea I had. There are many people like me who enjoy various EA (Games). Battlefield, NFS (different engine) and so on.
Now EA are not flavour of the month in Nintendo fans eyes, with their ever changing stance. Frostbite will work, it won't work. The Wii U is CR-P so on and so forth.
We all know it's down to money, the cost of the time needed. So this is my idea.
Could a Kickstarter campaign not be set-up for the sole purpose of financing the cost to port Battlefield 4 and the Frostbite engine to Wii U.
Ideas please. Surely it wouldn't cost that much, a few million or so?

Practice, and not going out to play in the sunshine, (when it sunshines in the UK) but opting to stay inside and get a few more headshots instead. ![]()

This is a troll post, right? You want to start a Kickstarter to hopefully raise "a couple million" to pay EA to make Frostbite games on the Wii U?
No this is NOT a troll post, I wrote an article about the the very same thing, to gauge interest, and to see if it would be feasible, by an individual or EA themselves.
If you took it the wrong way, well sorry for that.

Because it's EA, like one of the worst gaming companies ever, have you been living under a rock, starting next gen they could also be making games that cost $80!!!
No I an't living under a rock. (It's too hot at the moment). Games will always go up in price, it just how things go.

Found this whilst browsing the internet. It's a Facebook page that has been set-up to drum up support (create awareness) for 3rd party titles to be developed (ported seems such a lackluster word) for the Wii U.

I (liked) it just to help them on their way. Get the wheels rolling.
Link if you fancy visiting.

I know this might sound a real dumb question, I'm not a tech junkie at all, but with all these numbers being thrown around, what happens when Nintendo come along and refine the OS, and possibly unlock another 500 meg of RAM. Will developers need to re-write/patch software for that change? Do gaming engines like, re-calculate, automatically for more resources?

The ASDA near me, has never stocked Wii U games or hardware, it's just Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 content, and my local TESCO is the same.
Now watch the "fail" comments litter forums and blogs around the world. ![]()
