I'm hoping if we get guest characters besides megaman we get :

1 Sonic (i know he was in brawl but it's so perfect)

Disney likes Nintendo. Disney own star wars. Please be Battlefront WiiU edtion! please dear god let this happen. I loved battlefront series and Battlefront with COD style splitscreen on wii (player 2 uses tv player 1 uses gamepad screen) would just be too good.

I think there is multiple reasons for this. Some can not be fixed.

1)  First party is too good -

As people have said in the past. Zelda or Mario launches as the third party releases? Guess which one people buy. There for its not profitible. This can only really be fixed when the base has grown if Nintendo release less games. Example 2 mario games in 2 years is too much. It is needed at this time though it could be more varied. Example instead of 2 marios how about 1 mario 1 kirby?

2) DLC -

I'm still unsure on why it is but as I said here : http://thewiiu.com/t...r-dlcstore-imo/ something is keeping DLC off store and I don't think it's developers choosing as why choose to make less money?

3) The screen gives mixed messages -

The systems best feature can be it's worse. I point you to gearbox as an example. “We get asked if there is going to be a Wii U version of Borderlands, and the reason why there's not is because we couldn't think of a natural, obvious, 'OMG, I want that for what the Wii U brings to the table' feature,” was how they worded it going on to explain they couldn't think how to use the screen.

Nintendo needs to makes it obvious to gamers + develeopers the screens not needed. How about bundling a pro-controller with every system?  So people know if they buy say Tomb raider or Mortal Kombat or Cod or Resident Evil or Madden, develeopers can make the same exact game on all.  Now COD uses pro pad but it was not obvious that you could. This would make it easier to port to wiiu

4) Money -

Sony + Microsoft both pay money for more advertizement + exlusive dlc ect.. for their console. Imagine if nintendo at E3 announced they had a new deal with Rockstar. GTA V would get more content on Wii U. Try telling me that would not a) move systems and not sell like crazy!

5) Image -

Nintendo always pushes the "family" console. That is not bad as such. But they need to be a console "for everyone" to get more third party games. An advert compaign could easily do this.example :

Family playing super mario 3D land.

Kids go to bed in advert

Adults playing Zombiu , COD , Batman Arkham city , Darksiders II ect....

Fade to black

"Nintendo Wiiu - A console for everyone"

or something. As even now on other sites xbox 360 + ps3 fans laugh at the wiiu as been the "kiddy" console. It needs to break this by pushing it's adult content as much as it's family content.

now there is more but I think these 5 combined are hurting the console + the third party support.

Honestly, I would buy that Pokemon game. That game os made to be a MMO.

However, as you can see, this is why third party developers are not happy with Nintendo. They consider their partners competition. Which they are, but it is hard to compete with a company like Nintendo.

I don't think they meant third parties. But say for example the game was a FPS that let create maps and levels and use pad to draw custom weapons ect...  and it's not planned to come out till holidays 2015. They don't want say Microsoft to see idea and copy it and add halo name release before it as then everyone will go "LOL nintendo is copying Microsoft!" (not saying this is game it was just an on the spot idea im sure a games already done)

Still hope for a new Wii Sports game.

Please be like the one from wiiu announcement trailer. The one where you put pad on floor and tee'd off in it during gold or used it as sand trap. With wiiU support it could be like Wiisports golf + tiger woods BUT with a new dimention using pad.

Javascript doesn't offer the latency you need for a mario game.

Nobody wants to press jump and for it to jump 10 hours later.

They could market it as "Mario Galaxy 3" each world is increased gravity so jumping is later! . People will go "Hmmmm.... Genius! this adds more of a challange where you need to think in order to jump. Enjoy the instant jump on super mario 3d world you casual kids!"  

What I'd like from E3 nintendo next year :

First Party - Just show the games they have annonuced for 2014 release and maybe a mario party

Exlusives - ZombieU 2 announced in a big way to entice those wanting more "mature games" , Lego City Undercover 2

Third party - ALOT of third party game support shown and highlighted

Really? This the what they put? *face palm* There are reasons for xbox one over sony but these are not them Just like there is reasons for ps4 over xbone.

I would have said

1) dedicated multiplayer servers - seriously this is the BIG adavantage of xbone > ps4. Why does not one push this more?

2) Xbox is closer to PC - This means like this gen more games will built with xbox one in mind first.

3) Achievements can evolve - Now i hate Achievements but alot like them. The fact they can add more , change them ect... and even add them to tv shows means Achievement hunters will LOVE this.

4) Xbox One's cloud - 300,000 Xbox Live servers to render portions of some games that are heavy on workload. So after wear and tear there is a very strong chance your xbox could last longer than the Ps4.

5) Multimeida - ESPN and HBO Go, and full cable box functionality and more. I buy consoles for games but not everyone did. Did you know more people watch netflix on a console than anywhere? There is a massive audience here for that.

6) Family - While Nintendo is considered the family console. Compaired to ps4 xbox is the family machine. Dance Central and all the Kinect

 games are to alot the same thing as Nintendo land and alike. I have a nephew and his parents got him 360 over anything else as he's so young it means Kinect

can serve as means of making sure he doesn't drop or break game pads, £60 for a ps3 pad and lord knows how much our wii u ones will be. This can help a lot of people out.

Nope, it is objectively true that you are not an softshell lizard if you only have one console, and it is objectively true that you shouldn't treat video games like crack, and it is objectively true that you will be just fine if you don't "experience" every awesome exclusive of the generation.

Depends on your love. I share great experiences with videogames with friends. So to me as an individual. Games are what I spent most of my money on. Just like if you enjoyed cars your money would go on your cars, if you like reading then books. It's not treating it as "crack" it's just loving it that much. Example the day street fighter IV came oout a bunch of friends came around and we had big Street fighter party / tourniment. Had not got it day one i would have missed out on that experience which was fun.

You complaining over him "looking down on people for not just having one console" is the EACT same thing as you looking down your nose on that want more.

Then his comment isn't offensive in its stance towards Nintendo but in its stance on video games as being some kind of crack.  I've seen the same sentiment expressed on this site - people saying they have to have multiple consoles so they don't "miss out" on "experiences."  In fact, folks, you can still have a very fun and productive life if you never play this generation's PS3 exclusives!  I promise! 

Gaming is a hobby and there are diffrent levels like most stuff  example card games. Usually something like this :

[Loyal]

Has a starter deck and collects one main type of card. Example Pokemon fire types.  This is the ones who buy just 1 console.  They get one stystem they like the most and buy games they like. Be it Wiiu + Zeldas or XBone + FPS.  They enjoy their one console and don't "need" another.

[Mixed]

These people buy starter deck + multiple types that like or think they should own. These people in console terms will buy a ps4+wiiu for example and get games from driffrent people , diffrent types ect.. as to them they feel they need to buy more and enjoy most of the big ones.

[die hard]

Needs to collect every card in existance. In console terms they'll get all 3 big ones.  They need to get everything that's big or as much as they can anyway.

There is nothing wrong with any of theses but as opinion is based on you as an individual. Everyone makes these claims not just him. I've said before now "Oh god reality tv. Talk about worthless, bottom of the barrel shows!" or "Anyone who thinks twlight is good is an iddiot" we all do this. They only reason his comment is seen as worse here is a) Some view it as insulting Nintendo which wasn't , some dont want more than one console.  Plus that show while opinions is also entertainment. When ever you film stuff like this you feel you can be more vulgar or a little more "to the point" as it entertains. I've done the same thing when I record group stuff.

All that should matter to people is the following "Are you happy with your purchase?" if you bought Mario and loved it, great, if you bought halo and love it great , if you bought GTA and like it , great. As long as YOU like what you buy then who cares what some guy you'll never meet said on a video of opinions? He is entilted to his opinion as much as we are. If you buy something you hate to please or impress others then THAT is the only time you should regret your purchase.

To be fair his comment was "your an A**hole , your missing out on alot of great games" then right after it "It's the same thing if you dont own a nintendo as your missing out on great games"  So I think he was just saying as wiiu has little third party support buy 2 e.g i'll get ps4 too. That way you can say you do experience the best games.

I see no problem with it as he said it's the same if DONT own one.

I hope the "mario & sonic" game brings back circuit mode or festival mode though. I hated the london mode last time.

they're 2 new IPs at or near launch, plus an HD version of NSMB Wii. In my opinion the titles coming out this holiday are safe, strong titles that will sell a lot of systems. Plus the other strong titles coming out in 2014 (Smash, Kart, X, Bayonetta) Also Kart is early 2014 I believe. I think they pushed it back because there are plenty of titles this fall. 

I will agree to disagree. To me Mario + DK are strong but with mainly Nintendo die hards who will already own a WiiU. (Though if NSMBU is just HD wii game how is DKC not?) Also Mario 3D World I want it, however the general thoughts i saw online A LOT after it was revealed was "Meh it's a 3ds game sequel. I'll wait for nexrt galaxy before I buy wiiu"

Add GTA V as a competitor (this years biggest sellier I predict, and I want saints row IV more) and I dont see Wiiu competing to much. I mean even the parent factor. Wiiu $300 very few games Ps4 $399 a lot of games + will be heavily advertised in stores. $99 is not too big a diffrence and most will go with PS4. even now ps4 preorders http://www.digitaltr...ords-during-e3/ and I quote "n total, PS4 and Xbox One orders during the week of E3 beat console orders from the same period in 2012 by 4,000 percent.

Ok true its going against some hard hitting titles, but the people who dont like those titles and want those DK and Mario games will be all over. Marios always a must buy.

Yes but the people who want DK and Mario over those is ... us! the nintendo fans. We already own WiiU. Companies like EA + Ubisoft are looking for more consoles to sell to have bigger chance their games will sell

Seems smart I guess, most companies are. But with Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Super Mario 3D World I'm sure we'll be getting Wii U's off the shelf. If Nintendo does this right including Marketing.

I'm not enterly sure about this. NSMBU + Nintendo Land + Lego City didn't sell the system.  DKC TF and SM3DW  vs Ps4 , Xbox one , GTAV , COD ghosts and more big , big names is going to be hard. Now christmas 2014 with Smash bros + mario kart? yes. But now? not so much in my opinion though hopefully i'm wrong as I want a Zombiu2 (insert living dead bono joke) and will be getting Mario day one.

Not only is your logic flawed in that the games that the WiiU is missing out on aren't exactly family friendly parent-approved titles.  Wii U will have a much stronger and deeper lineup this Christmas than both of the other consoles as well.  The lineup this fall for both of the other ones is (quite literally) shooters, sports, and cars.

The parent approved sadly is very few. Kids + teens play shooters and driving games and their parents don't bat an eye. There is a reason every year COD is the biggest sales numbers. I agree parents should look in to it. But most don't now and it's shocking.

I mean for crying out loud they raged because Fifa 13 sold bad, a game which was ALREADY MONTHS OLD (Meaning the people who did want to get it already got it, obviously no one will buy it twice) sold badly. So they aren't releasing Fifa 14 on the Wii U but will release it on the Playstation 2.

Also fifa 13 on wiiu was fifa 12 with new paint job. While as fifa 13 on ps3 + 360 had better gameplay engine , features and extras. So IF you had not got it by the time U version was out you had a choice of like £45 for a gimped version or £30 for a full version.  Hmmmm i wonder which people would choose.

Honestly I like the look.

I don't like the real life pics (ironic based on my avatar here i know) + real life names. As honestly why I love Miiverse and such is I prefer gaming to remain annomonus as it adds more to it. Example if you see on Street Fighter the best fighter in the world is named "DeathByFists" it seems more legendary than "john smith" a bland ordinary name. I get imersed more as a player when everyone is more legendary figures in your mind. Not humanized. I may be in a minority here but i am glad it's optional on your own account at least.

Really do hope XB1 comes in last. However, I'm somewhat fearful that it'll do well due to average consumers not being informed of its policies. We'll see...

It'll do okay I think. I mean on amazon alone preorders are pretty high considering the negative feedback.
