Then why doesn't the cat suit do this?
Nintendo had stated that your character transforms into a cat and that it is not a suit like the other ones are.
They disabled linking and saving screenshots not to long ago. I just tried and it wont let me.
I dont use an image hosting site I just post a pic here directly from the pad, let me see how I do it....pause game, hit internet, come here, hit advanced edit, brouse, and attach this file.

That would be nice, my artwork is always done in pastel and so they are muddy to start with, but I don't think they look all that bad. I have often wondered how some people get such detailed and exact fine lines ... with perfect spacing ... I wondered if they use a real fine point stylus in addition to using a different brush or pen than I always use.

Well I must say I am very happy with this update !!! I love the whole idea of being able to play Wii Games on the Game Pad ... I checked out Zelda, A link to the past and Mario 3, and Galaxy ... they all look great.
With the added keyboard support, my Logitech keyboard now works and it did not work before. Because I use the Wii U's internet browser a lot, this is a big plus, I am typing this post with the USB keyboard right now ... it is not practical to use it for Miiverse, but for making posts on the internet, its great. Being able to read PDF files is great too! And who didn't want internet password saves? I know I did!
I don't feel like this update speeded up the Wii U UI, but I never felt like things took too long anyway.
I think the use of a headset during Wii U chat is a good idea, after december, I should be using Wii U Chat more because my nephew is getting a Wii U from me for Christmas.
I guess sound output is very important to some but it was never really an issue with be.
Those who wanted unified accounts, achievments and such may not be very happy but I for one love this update!

I was really on the fence with this game, having only played Pikmin 1 on Game Cube and not really liking it, and not being into RTS, I took a risk picking it up. I am so happy I picked it up ... its beautiful, very engaging, fun, funny, and most of all, its hard to put down !
For someone who hates turn based RPGs, Strategy Games, and RTS ... The fact that I love this game, is saying a lot about it.
Is it doing somethin my PS3 is not doing? YES, its making me really enjoy an RTS GAME ... AND THAT IS UNHEARD OF.

People have been saying "Pikmin 3 looks really nice or beautiful" but so far, I have not heard anyone saying it hit the ball out of the park ... and I do not think this title would have been capable of doing it either considering it was not built from the ground up for the Wii U when they started making it. I do not think we will see the most stunning games the system has to offer until some years down the line.
But what it does do is show in snippets just how beautiful games can look on the Wii U.

At first I wanted to buy this game day one, then I was on the fence, and now after watching footage of gameplay, I am again interested in buying it. I usually do not like strategy games but the world created here and the concept and gameplay have piqued my interest. The game looks great and looks fun too.

I think the best that we can really do right now is compare games made by Nintendo on this system vs games made by Nintendo on previous consoles. The real question for me is ... is Nintendo growing? Are the graphics in games I have loved for years getting better and will they get even better ... and I think the answer to that is yes ... Are the graphics in Pikmin 3 better than Pikmin 2? Are the graphics in Super Mario Wii U better than Super Mario Wii? I would say yes and because the system is so new, we can only expect the graphics to get better and better as time moves on.
I also believe that it is difficult to compare graphics from one system or one genre to another. For example, you can't say that a game that features "realistic graphics of realistic settings" has better graphics than a Mario game does just because Mario games graphics are not realistic ... you have to compare a game made by NIntendo that features realistic graphics before you can make that comparison.
and I say NIntendo specifically because they will work the hardest on their games for their system in the future ... the more they learn about the intricacies of their system, the more they will push the graphics of their games for their system.
Now here is the real kicker ... I can turn around and say that I like the graphics of Pikmin 3 or Mario Wii U better than any video game that looks realistic ... why? Because I like the style of unrealistic graphics when it comes to games ... I think that "cartoony" looking games transport me to another world more than realistic looking games do ...
So it really boils down to is are the games that you like in the genres that you like getting better and better looking? For me the answer is yes ... and I just can't wait to see how they will look in 3 years from now ... as more and more graphical techniques are used or used in better ways.

I'm glad to see this and look foward to the future ... not a single game released has tapped into the full power of the Wii U and I expect it will be years until they squeeze all its juice out.

1st the devs need to learn how to get the system to do what it can do, the next phase is getting the system to do what it cant do or is not supposed to do by tricking it. This is the point you see the most amazing games on a system, unfortunately, it is also the time a system is winding down...and a new one , the next generation one is on its way.

Miyamoto Talks Zelda, Pikmin, and Wii U Development
You have a new hardware system; how has the adjustment period for your teams dealing with new technology been? Do you feel that there's still a lot more, in terms of horsepower, that you can get out of the unit as you learn more about the system and its architecture and technological capabilities?
Of course, any time that we shift from one generation to another there are things for people to learn in terms of development and when it comes to developing the software itself. But when it comes to the hardware at Nintendo, we're a little bit unique because we're developing a new hardware system, we're doing that in conjunction with the software teams and there's communication going on about what types of games the software development teams want to create. So the hardware development and software development early on go pretty hand in hand. But certainly, as you spend more time with the hardware itself, and you get better at leveraging the hardware, you learn ways to draw out more of its power. So certainly I think that there's still more possibilities in terms of what we'll be able to do with the Wii U.
A lot of Nintendo's new Wii U games don't seem to use the touch screen in a very integral way. With Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, they encourage you to play with the remote and nunchuk and Pikmin 3 is actually better with the original Wii controllers. they actually had me play with the Wii remote and nunchuk. Do you have games in development that use the touch screen as a more important part of the game or is it just a side feature?
Well certainly I think that when it comes to touchscreens- and obviously not just gaming but a lot of other devices, are taking advantage of touch screen technology- and from an intuitive use standpoint, I think it's very integral to video gaming just because of the ease with which you're able to design the games in a way that anybody can play with just the touch of a finger in terms of menu selections and things like that. But, really for Wii U where we look at the benefit of the gamepad screen, is we really look at it as sort of a requirement in terms of how we're handling menus and sub-screens within the games. Just to make the games more convenient and easier to play.
... We always see Sony talking about how their hardware was made by developers for developers and that as a result, it is very user friendly to develop for.
... Here we see Nintendo saying their system was also developed for their developers, that the system has what their 1st party development teams wanted and needed to make the games they wanted to. They also say they are unique in that they developed a a new hardware system (not based on x86 I am assuming and with a touch screen built into the system)
... One of the things people complain about is that the control pad is not being used in unique and exciting ways but here even Nintendo seems to be saying that it is incorporated into the system to mostly provide convenience and ease of use ... menus, maps, selections. I for one have been happy with its uses and may not care much for doing far fetched things with it ... I certainly do now want to play a FPS where I am only allowed to swing the pad around to look ... I would rather use the analog stick for that but would not mind using that mechanic when using a scope on a weapon.

I just picked up Black Ops 2 ... my first experience with a black ops title ... After spending about 40 minutes with it, visually it compares to any shooter I have on the PS3 but because I like the Wii U Pad better, the game feels better ... considering this is an early port, it can only get better from here on out ... WHAT NINTENDO NEEDS TO DO NOW IS MAKE THEIR OWN MATURE FPS, A NEW IP, NOT METROID ... and show offf what they can do with their own system .... push the hardware and show us just what the Wii U is capable o f!!!
