No such thing as CORE gamers. Soccer Moms have a term because they pick up thier kids from freaking soccer or other sports but is pretty specific. Core is a loose subjective BS term to describe anyone who buys hyped AAA M rated games to some. And in Nintendo's mind it's anyone who buys Mario kart. Yet to people Mario kart is casual. No one knows WTF Core Gamers is. Every company has a different use for it. It's also used as a pretentious term as saying those who play a certain type of game are above those who play another certain type of game. Well if we go that route I have 400 games so I am more core than someone with 399 or someone who only plays current gen systems. Well that's BS. Just means one is a collector and one is not and others have far more games and des not make them any more core. Just more resources or time.

 

Core is the gaming verion of the term Organic in marketing. Legally Organic can be put on a computer or car because it uses natual matierials such as metal. All it takes. Core is even more loose than that. It can be slapped on whatever a company deems fit.

 

Either you are a gamer or you are not. Some play more,have more,different tastes. Just because I prefer Dragon's Crown to Uncharted does not make me more Core or vice versa. Also in case you bring it up Dude bros is not a marketing term but a derogatory term used to slander a stereotype. Major fifference there as well.

 

Also it sound slike you are saying a sucker (after all a sucker norn every minute) is a CORE gamer..then WTF so much dumb in that it's mind boggling. Also you make impression you made  the assumption all 7 million of those are suckers. Really?!

It's pretty early yet.
In abut 3 years the people who bought a p4 will be expecting games rather than hype, so we'll see what they can actually deliver to consumers.
e3 might be a decent indication, but then sony do have a habit of announcing things 4 years too early.

I haven't played it personally but a while ago when this game was at it's peak I saw a friend playing it and thought it was interesting but at the time I had no computer to play it so I watched a little bit of gameplay it looks pretty fun but it seems kind of like League in the way that if you get a team of just complete idiots it will be a frustrating match

 It's an innovative HD system at an affordable price with backwards compatibility, and has free online gaming. Yet, people refuse to give the system a chance.

but seriously this Movie was beautiful. It was a true masterpiece by Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. Well worth a watch the art and music is absolutely beautiful I can't say enough about how amazing this movie is

Steam is kind of addicting though. I have so many games I got for dirt cheap that I haven't even played once. If I ever build a proper gaming computer don't expect to hear from me for a year.

I actually love Miiverse. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of hilariously stupid incredibly heroic, charming, and intelligent people like Allan on there, but still being able to see opinions on a game only from people who have bought the game, and to get feedback from those same people is hecka valuable and cool.

I guess I can't really compare it to steam since I never use it though.

you should totally use steam even if you don't actually buy or play games on it it's just a wonderful community there is fan artwork, mods, a forum for each game it's just the best online infrastructure for gaming IMO

Have been enjoying using Steam on my new gaming PC and this sounds like more good things to come. More discounts, more updates and more devs will be attracted to Steam.

 

There is a resemblance to Miiverse I think with Steam. It's free to use, each game has their own forums and quite a few have achievements if your into that sort of thing. With the Steam machines coming out the dev control linked below is surely a sign of more improvements coming to Steam?

I got Magnetisim Manipulation which means basically magneto and one really over powered power which is Psionic Manipulation which is basically any psychic power included but not limited to Healing, forcefields, levitation, telekinesis, etc. (really overpowered). With these two powers I win. Against anything and anyone. The only person I think I would loose too is someone with Omnipotency and or Deminsional Independence meaning they can see all the time lines they can teleport they can switch to different dimension so another overpowered power.

nope these should be standard features, but they're not that is why I am transitioning to PC and Nintendo console gaming only. So I get great Nintendo games, 3rd party support, and the best online infrastructure.
