good for her but I've never understood coming out to the whole world with this type of stuff. I just don't understand making a big deal out of it.

Weren't you guys getting excited based off the fact Smash/ X/ Bayo 2 would get shown? Now people are moving the goal post and saying the Direct sucked because they didn't show Yarn Yoshi.
Perhaps people have gotten so spoiled with these Direct presentations, Nintendo keeps raising the bar each one and they're expecting more?
We still don't have a release date and I was excited for the X and Mario kart trailers but it sucks that I had to trudge my way through 30 minutes of 3ds games that don't excite me

well that was just so bland the first 30 minutes of it were so boring to watch the only thing that made this direct interesting was the X gameplay
for people who had stream problems watch it on youtube next time it's much smoother than Ustream

hey guys I'm listening to music and not really sure what compelled me to, but I just randomly wanted to write a story on this forum I'm not really sure how good it's going to be because everything is coming off the top of my head. I'm not really going to think this story out so tell me what you think. I'm not even sure if I'll finish I think I may just write a short intro and if people like it I will write more
The story begins here if you don't feel like hearing my whole life's story:
DAY 1:
I've been alone for so long that I needed some type of confidant. I haven't seen anyone sense the well... you know the accident. I went scavenging the other day and found this small brown diary that was empty I don't know why, but I decided to keep it and write my story in it so I guess for now on I will be writing in this. Not much has happened today so I'm not really sure what to write about so I guess until tomorrow bye.
Day 2:
So diary today when I went scavenging I was following the normal route slowly trudging down the river. Today I looked in the river and could see my own reflection. So much has changed since the last time I looked at my own reflection my hair has changed from dirty blonde to a dark brown whether it's from the dirt or whether it just changed colors I'm not sure but then I looked at my cheeks I could barley see my skin I was completely covered in mud. It made me remember the last time I took a shower, now it would be easier to answer what wouldn't I do for a shower? I remember my last shower like it was yesterday, and how much I had taken it for granted. I could practically feel the warm water dripping down my back, and my Mom yelling at me to hurry up because I'm using all the hot water. I eventually snapped out of the memory when I nearly walked right into the river. After that I didn't really find much so until next time I guess.
End of story for now I guess
I'm going to tell you know not my best work. I don't really like the perspective I'm writing in I'm used to 3rd person omniscient, but whatever you guys can tell me how carp the story is.
Edit: I also just realized that I put this in the wrong section don't know how to fix sorry

Your "christmas hamper" won't be playing the latest games in seven years at 60 fps. We've argued this over and over, so that's all I'll say. PC is amazing if you have the money, for the value, consoles rule.
neither will consoles LOL consoles will play games at 30 fps and at either 720p or stretched to 1080

For gaming is one thing. But even still, comparing an iMac to a laptop isn't the best comparison. But you should never buy a Mac if gaming is your main concern. Only casual gaming. Mac is great for a lot of things and the MacBook Air is very durable - and as I pointed out - the cheaper option amongst Ultrabooks.
I'm not very familiar with ultrabooks is there a difference between it and a laptop or is an ultrabook just an extremely portable and light laptop?

iMac vs Laptop ... Not a fair way to compare prices. Of course, you hating Apple you would do that.
Apple's lowest MacBook Air comes with Intel i5 and 128GB of Solid State HD. Go to Dell, and a similar option is 1249.99 (http://www.dell.com/...123098073120601) which has the same processor same ram same HD. Just different MORE EXPENSIVE price.
Plus, the MacBook Air has one the best battery life. And with the magnetic charge port you'll never worry about that port breaking. I don't know if the Dell has a backlit keyboard, but every Apple MacBook does. It's always the small things that make Apple the better choice. And in this case, it's also the cheaper option.
I don't hate apple I have an Iphone and I've used a mac book pro I loved it for casual use like internet and pron hehe. but for gaming there is just way cheaper with better spec'd options for $1149 here ( http://us.ncix.com/p...SI&promoid=1208 )
is a laptop with a better cpu a better gpu plus Windows which for gaming crushes especially because Mac OS is a resource hog (but so is Windows compared to Linux but Linux has no games so it doesn't matter) and if we go to Desktops custom build is all I have to say for way less I could build a computer that is way better than the iMac

I think macs are great for old people. No seriously. I convinced my mom who is now 74 in 2010 to buy a Macbook for a computer because of the smaller threat of a virus. The little white laptop is still kicking tho did have to replace the HDD and power cord last 3 years. Still it's worked out good for her as so many people esp at her age have a tenancy to click things in emails and somehow get bad crap. To me it's easy NOT to get one on Windows but old people with computers are like kids wither everything else. They find a way to break it even if that thing could survive a bomb.
valid point, but for the purposes of gaming Mac's are terrible in comparison

Apple makes great hardware. I've loved my iMac, and would love to have a Macbook Air. I love how people have this hatred against Apple, saying their products are "over rated" and "over priced", but then compare other ultra books with MacBook Air and find out PC manufactures charge more for the same thing. Some Apple products are really expensive - but it's generally their professorial hardware, like the Mac Pro.
And Apple is a very innovative company. They popularized the idea of the mouse. They made the idea of a smartphone the next big thing. Challenged the PC industry with the iPad. And lets not even talk about the iPod, iTunes and the App Store.
You are right that Nintendo being in trouble is a GOOD thing. Someone who challenges them on their level means they will work HARDER and be BETTER. So yes, Nintendo being in real trouble is a GOOD thing.
Apple's products are very overrated and overpriced the cheapest iMac is $1299 and I could find better specs on a laptop for cheaper too there is literally no point to buy it unless you really really really like the Mac OS

Yep, Sony is getting their ass kicked by cheap Korean electronics. The Japanese government won't ever allow one of their most ubiquitous international exporters to go bankrupt, though. That would be catastrophic for the Japanese public and jobs sector.
It's kind of disturbing how you guys are all going around spreading this stuff as if it was a good thing.
it's not a good thing but I'm pointing out the bias in the gaming industry
