#235867 Your Video Game Budget for the rest of 2013?

Posted by nbond3040 on 29 July 2013 - 05:47 PM in General Gaming

WiiU: Wind Waker HD

PS4: the actual system, Infamous second son possibly Knack depends on stuff and also possibly killzone

3ds: shin megami tensi 4

so a total of $580 :(  I can already feel my back pocket getting lighter

#233968 You know that Megaman anniversary news Capcom had for fans at Comic Con?

Posted by nbond3040 on 22 July 2013 - 12:08 PM in General Gaming

I would hope for some type of mega man legend 3 revival news because of the 3ds sales but guess not because Inafune is gone

#237642 Would you had done anything different with releasing the WiiU?

Posted by nbond3040 on 07 August 2013 - 11:44 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I would have launched it the same month as the other consoles and I know that sounds stupid but with a 3D mario, Wonderful 101, pikmin, ZombiU, Wind Waker out on day 1 it would have an amazing launch line-up of games along with better spacing between the the 2D mario game on 3ds. I would also advertise much better than Nintendo did with tons of stands in Gamestops, Walmarts, targets and anywhere else I could put a stand also better commercial advertising so people would know what the thing is so with a better launch lineup than other consoles along with better pricing I would defintley have bought the WiiU over the PS4 if they launched in the same month

#272758 Would you be in favor of a "Star Club" payed membership?

Posted by nbond3040 on 15 February 2014 - 10:47 PM in Wii U Games and Software

nope these should be standard features, but they're not that is why I am transitioning to PC and Nintendo console gaming only. So I get great Nintendo games, 3rd party support, and the best online infrastructure.

#240125 Wonderful 101 IGN review

Posted by nbond3040 on 18 August 2013 - 04:02 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Isn't this the same lady that gave Xenoblade Chronicles a 7/10 in graphics because it wasn't on par with an Xbox 360 game graphically?

http://www.ign.com/a...ronicles-review

...yeah. Yeah it is. Take the review with a few dozen grains of salt, everybody.

you're right her opinion should never matter to anyone ever... again if she gave Xenoblade a game on a Wii a 7 for having bad graphics I just dislike her now

#240148 Wonderful 101 IGN review

So she scored this higher than xenoblade?

oh oops my mistake nope she gave it a 9 I misunderstood the post and didn't even pay attention to the link I probably should have checked the link but whatever sorry

#238762 Wind Waker U Discussion

I'll buy it on sale for $20.

yep that seems about right

#238712 Wind Waker U Discussion

Posted by nbond3040 on 12 August 2013 - 02:10 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I am definitely going to buy this for a couple of reasons

1) better resolution unlike 480i blurred graphic

2) wide screen

3) better polished treasure hunting mission

4) I don't have GC version anymore and I love zelda games

if you had the GC version would you still buy it, because gamers always complain about games like call of duty same game better graphics?

#238708 Wind Waker U Discussion

Posted by nbond3040 on 12 August 2013 - 12:58 AM in Wii U Games and Software

So I was thinking about it, and I have absolutely zero interest in Wind Waker HD. I like the Legend of Zelda(kind of) I've played all of the titles from N64 on excluding the ds versions, but I don't care about this game at all I played this game a couple of years ago and I still have my copy of it and I don't want to pay $40 for basically a really good texture pack and a hard mode I'm just curious to see how many people are going to buy this.

Big Nintendo games usually never get that low.  Twilight Princess for Wii is finally $15 on Amazon in the "Nintendo Selects" version after years.  Mario Galaxy 1 is now $18.  I guess you could wait 5 years to save a few bucks.

I'm willing to wait that long I'm patient if it was a game I couldn't wait for I would pay full price but this I wouldn't mind waiting that long

#243305 Will a new Guitar Hero/Rock Band ever come to Wii U?

I didn't know they still made those games

#274354 Wii U's Memory Bandwidth, GPU More Powerful Than We Thought?

Posted by nbond3040 on 23 February 2014 - 05:57 PM in Wii U Hardware

zelda will be the game that show the wii u true power

I would prefer 60fps and 1080p then something great looking

#241585 Wii U Summer/Fall Update

You might be talking about this:

It's basically what the Xbox One will be doing in a few months time with cloud computing. Interesting..

I believe it is thank you very much

#241579 Wii U Summer/Fall Update

I expect cross game voice chat some sort of cloud type business even if it's small remember that one thing that either Nintendo bought or they did something regarding cloud not to long ago can't exactly remember also I'm hoping some type of account recovery where if your 3ds/WiiU is stolen you can recover your account and download the titles you bought from the e-shop also N64/Gamecube virtual console games I don't expect most of this stuff this is a wishlist

#231927 Wii U deluxe console review(so far)

Are peple not liking the gamepad itself? Or just not liking the fact that its not being used to its potential?

nbond3040, on 15 Jul 2013 - 9:40 PM, said:I agree with you but there is still more to be desired like besides the chat app which I forgot to mention in my review sorry, no games have used the webcam or mic to my knowledge at least and I defintley agree the map is convienent especially for monster hunter ultimate great game by the way and that game used it very well but I see even more potential and inovation

Did you know you can use the pad to chat with peple in your friends list ... video chst outside a game?

I personally like the game pad I just think that it could be used for more than just a map I dont know what because I'm not creative but something that is really inovative and uses all of the gamepads features like webcam and mic and touchscreen and we havent seen anything from nfc yet but the gamepad itself is really good like the build quality is nice its light the only thing I dont like is the triggers arent analog

#231896 Wii U deluxe console review(so far)

Posted by nbond3040 on 15 July 2013 - 04:15 PM in Wii U Game Reviews

So I think I should start off with saying I have no bias what so ever I own ps3, wii U, and xbox 360, and I have no brand loyalty so this is a 100% un-biased review. So stating that lets get started; so I figured I would break this up into parts just so if you dont care about one you can skip to another

Games:

            - There is a lot coming to WiiU in the rest of this year and 2014 for example Bayonetta 2, Smash bros, New Super Luigi U etc.

-Also something I like is there is a lot of variety coming to the WiiU its not just shooter after shooter; they are doing fighting games, strategy games, and platformers.

-But to downplay it the launch was in my opinion very lack luster with delays of great games like pikimin 3 and Wonderful 101.

-Also I know most people who bought a WiiU know how Nintendo works and know that they won't be getting all the triple A 3rd party titles like GTA5 and Battlefield and I know that when I bought this console I was buying it for the Nintendo exclusives but that being said it is still important to have 3rd party support for people who only buy one console.

Hardware:

            - First plus is that this console came with an HDMI good job nintendo you're doing it right

-The seond thing is the elephant in the room... The specs and I'm not the type of guy that knows everything about specs but it is very obvious that the WiiU is underpowered compared to other consoles especially because of the ps4 which has better specs but will only cost $50 more and of course the gamepad costs extra but I will talk about the gamepad later don't get me wrong I expected there the console to have less power  its just the way Nintendo is they are about inovation and I knew it when I decided to get the WiiU

Gamepad:

           - I'm going to say this now I see a lot of potential for the gamepad but the thing is so far I feel Nintendo should have just used the WiiU pro controller and take $50 off the WiiU so the reason I'm saying this is because no developer has used the WiiU gamepad to its full potential yet it just feels like something that can be used well but just ends up being a feature they think about afterwords like just adding a mini map which I rarley look down at so I'm saying this now but as soon as a developer uses the WiiU gamepad in a interesting and unique way I will change my mind and say that the WiiU gamepad is worth the money

-The gamepad is very comfortable the touch screen is easy to reach its light the only problem I have with the gamepad is the choice to not use analog triggers which sucks for racers but its not a big deal to me

Misc.

           - The internet browser is absolutley amazing with fast load times and easy controls and no history ( if you know what I mean) just kidding

-The Miiverse community is AMAZING I see even more potential with it and I cant wait the people using it are extremley nice and supportive there are tons of cool drawings and litteral masterpeices and soon they will be able to use art academy to show off there amazing drawings and paintings also with the ability to stop mid game and take screen captures its very cool

Verdict:

           - I see a lot of potential in the WiiU it has some really cool features like Miiverse and the internet browser it struggled at the start but there are alot of good games coming soon I would sugest waiting a little maybe for christmas this year but if I had to give it a score which is just for now because my opinion may change due to releases and new features so for now its a 6.7/10 also if you've read this far then if you disagree and would like to debate then I am open to it and you may sway my veiws and the score of the system if I forgot anything tell me and I'll chage this article type thing soooooo thats it bye

#231916 Wii U deluxe console review(so far)

Posted by nbond3040 on 15 July 2013 - 05:40 PM in Wii U Game Reviews

Great Review, even though many feel not much is being done with the pad yet, I am very happy with it already for off tv gaming ... no other system has mastered that yet except Nintendo at this point. No other system allows for video chat from a systems control pad either. Although it may not seem revolutionry, using the pad to display a world map is very convenient and it is uses like these I know I already like, I may not like some of the wacky uses of the pad to come in the future .... hehe

I was really hoping that when mario went down a pipe in Mario Wii U that it would appear on the pad and when he was above ground, it would appear on the TV ... like in the DSI games ... but I think things like that are coming...

I agree with you but there is still more to be desired like besides the chat app which I forgot to mention in my review sorry, no games have used the webcam or mic to my knowledge at least and I defintley agree the map is convienent especially for monster hunter ultimate great game by the way and that game used it very well but I see even more potential and inovation

#267335 Why Nintendo will be just fine (Short editorial)

Posted by nbond3040 on 18 January 2014 - 06:32 PM in General Gaming

I don't get all this doom and gloom thing for Nintendo people are really stressing that Nintendo is going to die but thats just stupid I mean Sony has a 78% chance of going bankrupt and everyone is still preaching doom and gloom about Nintendo also Sonys PS3 had a worse start than the WiiU did Sony took huge losses from that console and they are still here although they are very hurt from it but still here Nintendo is doing fine compared to Sony

#240559 Why is Sony getting so much indie love...

Posted by nbond3040 on 20 August 2013 - 02:38 PM in General Gaming

I just saw the gamescom conference and have decided to get a vita there are so many great indie games coming and there were alot of good announcements but also don't have so much brand loyalty if the games you want are on another system then get the other system don't just buy a system because it says sony on it or because it says Nintendo on it

#236438 Who is your favorite 'new' character in Nintendo games?

Posted by nbond3040 on 01 August 2013 - 03:08 PM in General Gaming

The fact that this list is lacking the character of Dunban, or as I like to call him, Captain BAMF, is shocking. Anyone who's played the first 10 minutes of Xenoblade knows what I mean

dunbans a close second for me and I also really like Fiora because I actually cared when she died in the first like hour of the game and don't spoil anything I'm only like 5 hours in I just got this game via gamefly

#273750 Who is the strongest person you can beat?

Posted by nbond3040 on 20 February 2014 - 05:08 PM in Roleplay and Forum Games

I got "Elastic Combat" and "Meta Art Manipulation".

Which means I just won this thread.

I feel bad for you.

out of curiosity would being omnipotent and having mind control defeat this ability or would this ability cancel out omnipotence and mind control?

#273732 Who is the strongest person you can beat?

Posted by nbond3040 on 20 February 2014 - 03:14 PM in Roleplay and Forum Games

Who is the strongest person you can take on and win? You get two powers via this link http://powerlisting..../Special:Random with those two powers who can you take down?

Try not to re-roll until you get what you want.

I got Magnetisim Manipulation which means basically magneto and one really over powered power which is Psionic Manipulation which is basically any psychic power included but not limited to Healing, forcefields, levitation, telekinesis, etc. (really overpowered). With these two powers I win. Against anything and anyone. The only person I think I would loose too is someone with Omnipotency and or Deminsional Independence meaning they can see all the time lines they can teleport they can switch to different dimension so another overpowered power.
