By the way, I noticed at one point in the game (before I beat dungeon 2) I had 500 rupees in my wallet. Did they ditch wallet upgrades? If so, I'm a happy camper cause man I hate it when I can't carry anymore rupees.

Nope. Wallet upgrades are still present.

The game seems to have similar mechanics and gameplay in terms of free running and combat as the AC and Splinter Cell series. You have to run a bit before climbing walls in W_D and it seems exactly the same as AC. The combat and stealth will show this read arrow/bar thingy whenever there is potentially someone who may see you.

I've got no problem with AC free-running controls. I'm just wary when they say stuff like this. Especially considering that 5 percent that can't be stealthed through. The parts that can't be stealthed through could be the longer, more climactic missions which would be the most fun/challenging to stealth through.

Apparently there are different mega evolutions also (I think?).  In past version (like White) there were also different areas.  

I consider different mega evolutions to essentially be the same principle as exclusive pokemon. You're right about Black and White although I'm not sure if we have even gotten any news of something similar to that. So at this point people will probably base their decisions on the Pokemon.

Is there any reason to get either one besides exclusive pokemon?

I'll probably get X (For the legendary) when I get the cash. I like Pokemon but theres no way it takes priority over Ace Attorney 5.

Well, people always expect me to pick Ike when playing Smash Bros, I haven't the foggiest idea though...

I haven't played the original or the second yet. I borrowed Brotherhood and Revalations because I heard that they summed up the story so far.

I've watched the gameplay for the first game already and I think a realtive of mine is considering buying the original Portal. I'll probably just leech off him.

I think you ought to try it out when you get the chance. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who has been playing the series from it's start so I'm not sure how you'll find it but I think 2 is the best game in the series at this point in time.

Eh, I'll believe it when I see it. I could easily see you stealthing your way to an objective only to inevitably get caught up in a fight. (Sorta like recent Assassins Creed)

The cafe is the area for anything deemed unfit for anywhere else and is the place this topic would fit. I wouldn't worry too much though, I assume some moderator will move the thread. (Right guys?)

Just looked at the neogaf thread. I swear to god some of the people on Gaf can make my blood boil sometimes.

I'm just gonna wait until we get the number of new pokemon plus mega-evolutions. Doesn't seem fair to not count those.

70? That's dissapointing. I wonder whats to blame, could be the fact it's 3d and all the problems that come with that or just a lack of creativity.

Though there is also the mega-evolutions to take into account; I can't quite remember but was there any official number given about how many there would be?

Its a shame it didn't hit over its 1.3 million stretch goal mark, but its still impressive and I can't wait to play it. Here's to Shantae for Smash Bros.(We reeeeaaaallly need more females)

Definitely a shame they didn't reach every stretch goal. I would have been satisfied with the $900,000 stertch goal since it would add so much more replayability to the game. Though apparently at this point they're past $800,000 and acceptng further cash through paypal so heres hoping it can go even further.

Just a digital copy. I already have the limited edition of the first game so I can't really say I'm bothered enough to get this special edition.

I would say Nintendo but I feel like that's more because I've actually played most of the games on their side but barely any games that Sony makes.

I tried about 15 times (making a new character each time :/)
got in once last night and actually past the race but then it made me do this stupid drug mission and as I was chasing this guy I ran outta bullets, he seemed smarter than ai on single player because everytime I was able to trash his car he'd just steal another one. I tried to quit the job but the game just crashed and I lost my 16th online character :/ gave up trying after that night.

 

 

 

All the other sonic cartoons were atleast 20 minutes long.

And? If the episodes are good I see no problem. Though considering it's a comedy show I hope for some Aosth callbacks. Maybe have Sonic put on a disguise in a similar way to Aosth.

My God these are horrible. Chespin's Evo looks like Buzzlight Year. Either way I'm going with TeamFroakie.

To be honest, after taking time to assess the designs Chespin's evo is the only one who looks terrible to me. Fennekin's is good and Froakie's is pretty great I'd say.

As glad as I am I kinda wish more attention was given to the Shantae:Half-Genie Hero kickstarter. It kind of got overshadowed by Mighty.

Why does Knuckles have such big triceps.

Knuckles will now the the big buff friend, sacrificing any characterization he had from the previous games or shows to fit this trope.

Because cartoons require "realism" for an enchalada who has spikes on his knuckles.

I would like to think this is not the case and that it's just that artists style...but hey, on the bright side maybe they'll actually acknowledge his role as guardian in this show. (I highly doubt it will happen but you never know)

What the heck is with the height differences between Knuckles and everyone else? I can get behind the other design differences like Amy and Sonic (Can't see anything to suggest Tails has an altered design) but Knuckles...hes so tall, not to mention his gloves actually show fingers.

Guess it's time for me to go into my "cautiously optimistic" mode.

- Starters now are level 10 

- Snorlax appears to be in Pokemon X & Y, he's blocking a path.

- Combee is catchable

- Scraggy is catchable 

- Skiddo is a physical sweeper

- Psyduck is catchable

-  TM 27 is Return

- Berries are on trees now.

- Main Character can have facial hair. 

- Professor Sycamore battles you early on.
