Just a suggestion, why not use the 3DS forums Minecraft server and make it a Wii U/3DS Forums server? :3 We need more players over there.
Danger (The Dude) is renting a server which we've been playing on for a while now.
I'm pretty sure Danger is ok with it, but I haven't asked him yet.
Thoughts?

I'm expecting $500-$600 Australian, and that's compared to some of the launches of other consoles.
$400-$600
That's pretty drastic, no? Remember how Nintendo said they wouldn't make the same mistake again?
I'm thinking $250-$300. I know that's pretty low for a console like the Wii U with the controller and all, but Nintendo's probably gonna do like Sony (and the 3DS?) and make it up on software sales.

Well the PS3 launched at £425/$500 for the 20GB model. The Wii U is more powerful than the PS3, it's innovative, and the controller alone is pretty high-tech. I wouldn't expect something much cheaper than $500.

I think it'll be something similar to the 3DS, with the bottom screen being on the controller and the upper screen being on the TV.
I don't like the idea of using a town as the menu though, as it would take to long to do anything. Having to walk around for 10 seconds to open the eShop has to be a little annoying.

How about custom or free downloadable menus!? People who can code can develop their own ideas and design menus that you can download from the Wii U Store; free.
Ehm, I really wouldn´t get my hopes up.

i dont understand why this is still being discussed or why poeple were still hopeful for august, for some reason the biggest news has lately been failing to get noticed. back in 2011 Iwata already said in an investor meeting that he aimed for a japan september launch and november in EU and NA. no one seemed to care about that though for some reason

I'd go for a new Mario game in general. Don't get me wrong, I like both, but I feel that with each new console there should be a new kind of Mario brand to go with it.
Of course, a new Mario game would be better.

HOLY MOLY! EVERYONE MISSED WHAT WAS AT 2:02! WAS THAT AN ASSAISINS CREED FIGURINE? YUP. IT WAS. ASSAISIN'S CREED WILL MAKE USE OF NFC TECHNOLOGY. PLEASE EVERYONE WATCH THE CLIP AT 2:20. This will allow players to drop characters instantly into games. Think addition characters that you can unlock in games just by sitting the NFC enabled figurine onto the controller...POKEMON, gotta catch the all for real this time...Or how about Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat Figurines...I'd love to collect a Barraka NFC figurine:)
This just confirmed that Rayman Legends will have an AC-themed stage, though I'm not denying the possibility of this coming to AC3 as well. Not sure if I'm excited for it though.
