No Donkey Kong?
No I'm afraid not, it doesn't interest me and I've got my eye on Sonic Lost World instead which I will probably pick up in the Spring alongside Mario Kart 8.
Are you getting DKTF?

I got Sonic Lost World for christmas, I love the game. I really don't get why some of the reviews were so bad. You'll have a blast with it.
The main complaint seems to be the controls, yet if like everything else it takes time to learn and adjust, so I won't let that put me off. I played the demo and thoroughly enjoyed the level. Another complaint is that it's a Mario Galaxy "rip-off" and I couldn't disagree more.

It's working fine for me, as long as it's an issue with Nintendo servers and not my Wii U, that's all that matters.

Just a warning to any FPS fans, DON'T BUY COD GHOSTS!!!! It's the worst Call of Duty, far worse than MW3. I received it as a Christmas presents after a few hours of playing the single player and online modes, I'm trading it in tomorrow.
If you want an FPS game I suggest Black Ops II instead.

Will they give us a zombie U sequel????? I just dont have any respect for these third party companies. they chase the dollar too much. The harsh reality is Nintendo is not looked at as a priority for 3rd parties. I can guarantee you if Wii U was selling like hot cackes it still wouldnt be getting the 3rd party support owners would want.
It does seem to be that way which is sad, as I own as many third party titles as I do first party titles. It does seem that Nintendo gamers aren't too keen on third party titles, apart from Zombi U which was a bundle, Lego City Undercover and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate by the looks of things.

well as a launch title i thought zombieu was really good - that's where i got my name from. ubi has done some good things for wii u so far.
The question is will they release anymore games on the Wii U after Watchdogs comes out?

Somebody had to say it. Third party support is going to get rainbowty. Pathetic software sales of this years ports doom any chance of better third party support next year. Wii U is an exclusive console 100%.
Yeah it does appear that third party sales are worse this year then they were last year. AC IV and Ghosts have sold significantly less copies than their predecessors.

This is what it seemed like to me. It's a real shame for everyone that wanted to just own a Wii U. I would definitely have gone Wii U only if there was a decent number of good ports.
I'm pretty gutted things have gone so wrong for the system cos I think it's great. I wasn't anywhere near as into games last year before I got one.
I will continue to own a Wii U as my only console (3DS XL excluded) as long as Activision and Ubisoft continue to support the Wii U then I will continue to plug with the Wii U only. If those two pull out or only offer Just Dance and Skylanders then I will have to seriously contemplate getting either an Xbox One or PS4 at some point in 2015.

Wii U Hardware
Sounds good but I stil want to see these advantages taken advantage of by 3rd parties ON A REGULAR AND CONSISTENT basis so this (Yes a big part of the gaming community thinks this) notion that Wii U is barely a step above last gen and not NEXT GEN (just speaking from a tech standpoint) can be gone for good. The 1st party games on Wii U for the most part look really good but still waiting to see that game that REALLY pushes the hardware.
You'd really have to be an idiot to peddle the whole "Wii U is on par with last gen consoles" rubbish. You don't even have to be an expert at computer hardware to know the Wii U blows the PS3 and 360 out of the water in terms of specification. Bayonetta 2 clearly shows that although the Wii U is not the most powerful console on the market it is capable of producing some stunning imagery.
I would prefer 60fps and 1080p then something great looking
I'd hate to break it to you, but games that have a 1080p native resolution generally look great, that said Bayonetta 2 appears on first impressions to be one of the most visually stunning games I've seen for a while and that's reportedly 720p with 60 fps.
While I believe the Wii U can handle more than Nintendo's being given credit for, this article really does say nothing but hypotheticals. Of course, since plenty of propaganda with similar basis is readily distributed on the internet, just with anti-Wii U sentiments instead, I could see how it would seem to some a good thing to now see some pro-Wii U. But I personally would rather no conjecture... either way. I'd much rather let the systems stand as they are and leave the proof in the pudding. If gamers enjoy it, then they play it. But the war of words and continued console war trying to disuade gamers from trying their competition is a sad thing. When that war continues at the gamer level, an even sadder state. But it's in the console developers best interest to perpetuate this. As gamers, we should be enjoying the various products. If we do, there should be room for any good console or game that rolls around.
Nintendo is far too secretive for its own good.
I mean why convince gamers to buy your system through marketing and communication with openness and transparency when you can just let it flap about like a fish out of water while your main competitor wipes the floor with you?

Well there are a lot of idiots out there. Believe me when I say there is a big percentage of gamers that feel like it is only a small step if that above ps360. Journalist also feel this way. I have visited too many sites and articles that have said that much. I think most people dont care anymore they have accepted Wii U is what they have been told it is. Its sad but 100 percent Nintendo fault
Oh I know, any Wii U article posted on Gamespot is met with idiots posting this waffle.
Anybody who has seen the screen shots of Bayonetta 2 can clearly see just how capable the Wii U is.
However the Wii U's hardware shortcomings in my eyes is not nearly as unforgivable as their lack of marketing and releasing the console without a single must have game AAA game i.e. Zelda.

This subject could have been put to bed had Nintendo outlined what exactly is in their system in the same way Microsoft and Sony did last year with their consoles.
Does the Wii U have a secret sauce? Whatever the hell that means? Nope, I believe the Wii U is a capable system as shown in some games on the Wii U and there's a reason that SlightlyMadStudios has decided to scrap the 360/PS3 version of Project C.A.R.S and keep the Wii U version.
The problem with the Wii U is that Nintendo's secrecy and the lack of demand for third party games from Nintendo gamers has meant that the Wii U has been engulfed with third party games that have not fully utilised the Wii U's capabilities.

I think the Wii U that you claim to own is more likely a Chinese knock off, or you just don't own one or any of it's games.
I've posted my games library, so clearly I do own one.

Clear as mud.
I finally understand your childish rants towards console, you see, I have sampled most of PC's "best games" and they are just poor vs consoles exclusives. My PC is a web browser and that's pretty much it.
Having poor games make you bitter?
I'm trying to get my account suspended and deleted, hence my trolling.
I actually love my Wii U and its game, I just dislike this forum and the users on it.
So I'll say anything just to get a rise out of the members on here.

I don't care about the resolution, this looks like it will be a work of art on every frame. Can't wait.
I concur, it looks very, very impressive.

I was one of the first people on any site to suggest it would. Most people just have such a negative outlook on Wii U hardware they dont think its capable to have a game on that level running that smooth plus 1080p. i think it is possible and is going to happen. Time will tell though.
The Wii U has more 1080p 60fps games then the Xbox One.
well seeing as the gameplay footage we saw was from a game that at that point about 9 months away we can expect even better. To me that boss fight on the building proves Wii U is more advanced than ps360 and has a VERY capable CPU/GPU. its def next gen its just sad no 3rd party developers gets the hardware enough to show it.
Your Ubisoft's, EA's and Activisions are too lazy to sit down and spend months with different architecture, they just want all the devices to be identical so they can do simple inexpensive ports which are guaranteed to see them get a return on their investment.
That's why I like smaller developers like Platinum Games, TT Fusion and Slighty Mad Studios who will spend months with a machine ensuring they understand the architecture, so they can make a great game.

For real. They've got to stop doing this crap of only showing off stuff in the immediate future. After all that's gone on the past month and a half, they need to being to REALLY bring out the big guns and stop goofing around. People (mostly morons) have serious doubts about Nintendo's relevance in the industry when it comes to the Wii U. They need to change that. If I were them I'd be showing off every already announced game at least every other month to keep drumming up hype.
Well if they don't get their games out this year I reckon a lot more retailers will be following ASDA in refusing to stock any more Nintendo Wii U hardware, software and peripherals.

Making excuses for Nintendo won't alter the fact that they are heading towards irrelevancy. Only a small percentage of gamers want a Wii U. Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros won't change that.
