Welcome! I miss the dreamcast days, it was such a good system.

I wish it was coming out on wii u and PS3, I would just lay in bed and play on the game pad! 

Anyone else picking this up? It is coming out April 29th in the US/Canada and April 25th in Europe/Australia for PS3. I am a huge fan of the series and I imported the Japanese Collectors Ed back in August. It is a pretty awesome fighting game with over 32 characters from story arcs 1-8 of the series. The third story arc anime is also beginning April 4th in Japan.

Yeah I couldn't wait for a localization announcement haha! But I pre ordered the the English ver off club namco to support it. The one on Dreamcast was pretty fun back in the day but this one is so much better . We should get people together and plan a mini wii u forum tournament ?

Right now Wii U has got the best games. I am probably going to wait till Phantom Pain comes out before I get a PS4 myself.

I love metal gear. It has some of the most interesting characters and villains I have ever experienced. MGS3 is hands down my favourite game. Naked Snake/Big Bosses character progression in that game was absolutely amazing. I cannot wait for Phantom Pain to finally see Big Boss transform into the Villain. I have quite the MGS collection too .

Yeah I first noticed it with Lightning returns which is $65 from the standand $59. New 3DS games/ Vita games are now $45 from $39. Ground Zeroes went from $30 to $35 on all Versions. Mario Kart 8 is now $65 now. So it is gaming as a whole in Canada not just Sony.

It gave it personality, but not the right kind. It was way too feminine. 

 The femininity of the art never bothered me. Japan is known for being a bit more feminine than the rest of the world so it fit perfect. To me Castlevania will always be a Japanese take on the idea of Dracula and Ayami's art style executed that flawlessly in a unique, fresh and yet still authentically japanese way.

For a wider world appeal your right though, I can see how it does not appeal to everybody accross the globe.

Her art is okay, but it just doesn't fit with the material.

I couldn't disagree more, It gave it personailty. It is a very unique gothic style that made the series stand out, well at least for me.

When they switched to straight up anime design for Dawn of Sorrow / Portrait of Ruin / Judgement and Order of Ecclesia I agree with you.

I miss Ayami Kojima's art the most . I felt her art and character design was one of the most important parts of Castlevania. Much like Yoji Shinkawa to Metal gear solid.

The games I have for Wii U are New Super Mario Bros U, Luigi U, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Windwaker HD, Wonderful 101, Super Mario 3D World, Batman Arkham Origins and Pikmin 3.

The Games Im most excited for on Wii U are Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, X, Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei.
