You counteracted your "perfect" Idea when talking about the purple, lol.Why should they? the game was already perfect just with White, Red, Purple, Yellow, Blue. If anything, adding the purples broke the game in some aspects with their power
Why should they not? It will only make it better

Some new things I want to see are a propeller for FLUDD to swim faster, FLUDD being able to use ice as well as water (maybe even fire, like in LM2), and of course: Yoshi!

Well IMO it is not as much as they don't care, more of people prefer the other franchises like Zelda and MarioI've been playing Nintendo games for a long time! Although, most of my favorites come from the 2000 - 2003 time frame. My favorite game is Animal Crossing, but I've kind of lost faith in that series now as Nintendo doesn't seem to care much about it anymore. Hopefully the 3DS version will change that.

I would make it a puzzle. Sort of building and crap to get you through levels
If that doesn't count... then a Super Mario game with Wario as the main villain. I guess based off of mines due to Wario's Gold Mine on MKWII and stuff like how Super Mario Galaxy is based off of Galaxies

There are 2 new buttons next to L and R. tjhey are called DR and DL i believeWait, what buttons?
Anyways, I said before, we have no idea if this console is going to fully support four simultaneous controllers. If they are going to make a SSB game, it's going to support 4 players locally. You put two and two together, and you have yourself a game that's going to work with the least amount of buttons available: a Wii Remote.
