Religion is old. It was invented because people didn't know better. What is thunder? Who created life? Who placed water on the globe. Originally, religion was invented to answer those questions, but soon all religious leaders just kept it going on to have power. (Almost every religion started a war at least 1 time because their leader said they had to. )

Right now we do know better, so religion is a bad excuse for un-knowledge.

This is called cloning and it isn't creating life it is manipulating it.

If you change the DNA of the clone you can create new life. Both stuff have been done before, just not together yet.

I actually meant that they are able to take cells from someone, and create a twin of it from him. Has been testing this in labs with some sorts of animals already.

It basically means knowing you exist. Knowing you are here. When we look, we see. When a computer looks, he won't see anything.

It's a strong complex computer that can be recreated in the future I think. Life isn't as complex as it looks like.

That doesn't add any difficulty.
Hormones are slow signals replaceable by wires.
The chemicals are just to keep the electricity level in your body high enough. Replaceable by wires.

Humans can do nothing more then a computer should be able to. But right now, we didn't invent intelligence yet for computers.

AI isn't intelligence. Intelligence requires you to be capable of learning things.

A computer won't even know what he's doing. He won't learn anything, which clearly is a part it has to have to talk about intelligence. AI is just a bad word for "Complex user input based output system".

Cleverbot can't learn. He's only made to remember stuff. I don't see the other ones as serious.

Also, it is possible. The section that makes us learn is in the brain. It's just really really complex. If we could build a brain-chip it should be able to work. We can actually, but it's way to hard to do and way to complex.

I know what it means, but it isn't intelligence. The definition of intelligence is "The ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. ". AI isn't able to acquire knowledge.

It's not intelligence. That's why it's called artificial intelligence and not just intelligence.
Also, humanity is dying. There's not enough money to pay all depth and not enough food to feed everyone on earth. If we can make "living" robots, they don't need food and are unlikely to get in depth due them being able to take multiple jobs. (They don't sleep )

Clever bot hasn't got intelligence at all. It has an AI.

Also, why's everyone so scared. If they will be like us there's no chance they'll take over the world or such. (al tough some humans tried before)
