Huh apparently the only Mighty Ape retailer I could find is in New Zealand? Odd how a New Zealand retailer is getting so much love.
I doubt I'd pre-order from there. They'll probably make me pay an arm and a leg for shipping!
I do plan on Pre-Ordering for the Special Edition since I've missed out on the Legendary Editions of the past!
Really missing out on any of these skins really isn't a deal breaker for me. They're all kinda ugly IMO.

So since I found this thread I was wonder if you could solve a bit of a Halo 4 dilemma for me.
Apparently Halo 4 is doing the Gears of War 3 thing and that is have a Pre-Order skin for as many retailers as possible!
So now we have to select one, but I'm not sure which!

They are all the same, I think they all should just be called the same name too
Not sure if you're just that big of a Nintendo fanboy to have absolutely zero tolerance for absolutely ANYTHING that isn't on a Nintendo console, or if you are just that stupid!
The only thing WoW and Skyrim has in common is that they are RPGs set in a medieval world. Which is a LOT of games!
If time period turns Skyrim into WoW that would mean ANY game having to do with building up a hero in a medieval time period theme then I guess that makes Zelda WoW too!

No... no it is not!
Though they are similar they are not the same!
Skyrim has you run around killing things in real time while being immersed in a huge sandbox.
WoW is running around doing quests while your avatar does all the work for you in a world that is not immersive. (difference in Skyrim you must aim!)
Skyword Sword has you run around dungeons solving puzzles.
All these games are different! They are good in their own right.
If you want to compare Skyrim to a game that released this year compare it to Minecraft. Both play similar both have massive immersive worlds. The main difference is that in Minecraft you craft the world yourself and use your imagination for context, while in Skyrim the world is crafted for you but has a storyline you follow for context!
Oh and I revoke my statement for Skyrim being GOTY. I now say that Minecraft deserves GOTY!

I'm sensing a gratuitous amount of bias here. o___o
Skyrim shouldn't have won on the amount of glitches AT LAUNCH alone.
I haven't played either game yet, but doesn't Skyword Sword have an infamous game breaking glitch that they are asking consumers to send in SD cards or Wii Consoles to fix? Just saying let's not point fingers here! Nintendo is usually good when it comes to having no glitches!
From what I've seen however Skyrim looks actually better than Skyword Sword! (puts on flame suit!)
Skyword Sword has the classic Zelda gameplay that we all know and love ever since OoT! I would never wish it to change. Problem is that it's hard for me to put that over a game as big as Skyrim! To be fair and unbiased when it comes to pure gameplay Skyrim wins!
Still though I put Skyword Sword in 3rd place right behind Saints Row: The Third which shows a giant middle finger to how serious games take themselves these days! 3rd ain't bad though! Not at all! It takes a lot for me to call a game good! And there are only 6 "Good" games in my book this year! Skyrim, Saints, Zelda, Gears of War 3, Mario Kart 7, and Pokemon Black and White! (SWTOR would be titled "Great!" in my book, a near impossible feat! But I'll count that game for next year!)
So Skyword Sword is no doubt in the top elite this year, no doubt the best Nintendo game, but best game overall is a bit of a longshot.

Hmm... a relatively small fanbase here.
I've played the Early Access on the Ebon Hawk server as an Imperial Agent up to level 19 and I'd have to say that it is my all time favorite MMO!
Might even be my all time favorite Bioware game!
I definitely recommend it!

I don't see why people keep suggesting 3rd party games such as Master Chief or whatever.
You must know for it to be a in Smash Bros. they have to be affiliated with Nintendo in some way. Also they probably have to be developed by a Japanese Developer.
I don't want more 3rd party characters anyway (Sonic was fine, Snake was pushing it). There are plenty of characters that haven't been done.
I want an Earthbound character that DOESN'T play like a Ness clone.
Some ideas could be Giygas (from Mother/Earthbound Zero) though he'd be too similar to Mewtwo.
Claus would be a neat idea. He'd be in his cyborg knight armor and use his sword with most attacks. Similarly we could also have Poo using his sword.
Though my favorite idea would be Porky Minch! He'd use a small (Bowser sized) Spider Mech to fight enemies.
I think Mewtwo needs to return! The game wasn't the same without him! I don't really see any of the new Pokemon fitting in well into Smash Bros. as playable characters. (Maybe Zoroark)
Aside from that I'd love to really let them think out side the box and add some real surprise characters.
If they add any surprise 3rd party characters this year I'd hope to expect something from Capcom. (like Pheonix Wright or Mega-Man)
Bomberman would be an interesting but still natural feeling addition, although Bomberman seems to be more affiliated to Xbox Live arcade than Nintendo these days.
I never played the Professor Layton series yet, but they seem to be really popular DS titles and it would be smart for Nintendo to think about adding this character.
Lastly, I think the Mii should be added as a character. For it's attacks I suppose they'd use things from the Sports and Play titles, (Up Smash could be Jetpack now).

Well... I've had plenty of aliases before (DJ Gamer, Failedabortionbaby, Binky FABulous) but the one I use on Xbox and Steam is Stachioed. Long story short in a Web Development class we were supposed to make a logo for our website so I made on for Stachioed Studios. Though to make the Stache Face I used the Colon ":" and Left Bracket "{" characters in the text tool. After saying colon left bracket out loud a few times it sounded vaguely like a name! Therefore my new online alias became Colon Leftbracket, which is slightly less offensive than Binky FABulous, The Failedabortionbaby!

The assignment? Make a logo. The assignment lasted 5 days which everyone used all 5 of those days. I waited until the last day to even start my logo. It took me 5 minutes in Adobe Fireworks. It was hailed as the best logo in the class. 5 Minutes of Work > 5 Days of Work
To explain the logo itself well... It's a Mustache face (for Stachioed) but I made it using the text tool by typing the ":" Colon and the "{" Left Bracket. I then noticed that Colon Leftbracket sounds like a name and thus the alias Colon Leftbracket was born! :{

A (PINK!) DSLite which has a GBA built in so I guess I can say I have a GBA as well
I have a Nintendo Wii (which is also a GameCube) and a Gamecube... the original purple color! Because I saw sooooooo many black Gamecubes it mad me sick
I have ....errr I share a PS3 with my brother (which functions as a PS2... I think?) he's more into the PS3 than I am since my console of choice these days is....
Xbox 360! (which laughably doesn't function well as an Original Xbox)
I've been really thinking hard on buying a 3DS, but I suppose I'll give it some more time. I'm also planning to buy a SNES soon to relive my all time favorite console!

Errrr, don't be afraid to post.
So, what made you decide to come here and write such an awesome introduction?
Play Minecraft? As you know, this site has an MC server, so don't be afraid to go play there
First off I haven't even looked for any threads to post in yet since I've been very busy lately.
Second, I enjoy writing. I'm pretty good at it actually so when I post I prefer I give other people something to read. Plus I needed to explain briefly the confusion over my username.
And yes I do play Minecraft though I haven't played ANY multiplayer yet so I'll have to log in to the server sometime!

Well what kind of games are you hoping to get with a Wii U? For me I want Darksiders 2, Ninja Gaiden, Batman and Dragon Quest.
Well I don't have any particular title I'm looking forward to yet. I'm more looking forward to what the Wii should've been... a true successor to the Gamecube and N64 that uses some fun gimmicks as side attractions so they can focus more on actual games! (Not that I don't like the Wii, it just disappointed me)
Most the titles announced seem to be multiplatform that actually don't feel or look like cheap knock off versions, but the actual games. There will be the great Nintendo games to look forward to (such as Mario Kart, Zelda, Metroid, Smash Bros.). And unlike pretty much everyone I know personally I kinda like the etch-a-sketch look alike controller!

Well I'm Dylan Yocca from central Pennsylvania. I am 17 and I grew up playing the SNES! I remember when I was little putting countless hours into playing Super Mario World! I really didn't need any other game (not even sure I even owned any other one at the time). Though I do remember playing another game... a friend brought over this strange... Earthbound? game. I played it and hated it at first. (I was like 8 and I only played Mario up to this point along with some Sonic and Mortal Kombat on a friend's Genesis) Then I was told to give it another chance. It's more of a story than a game, but there's also strategy. I took a while but I got a hang of this strange new "RPG?" genre.
Long story short me and my friend played shifts going on this long journey through the world of Earthbound and it became my ALL TIME FAVORITE GAME!
...so I guess that covers it for favorite game. Once I grew older I played the Gamecube and PS2 and then later on 360 (well I do have a Wii, but it's awaiting for me to buy Skyward Sword)! Video games are a huge part of my life. Ideally I wish to be some kind of video game critic since I also enjoy writing and Criticizing EVERYTHING!
But you know there's my story, I hope to have as great a time on these forums!
