Special – 100 if effective, 25 neutral, 10 if not effective
Normal type pokemon take off 50 no matter who they attack
Every pokemon has 100HP

I've listened to the first three, I really like the first one sounds very gamey I could just imagine running around with a character to that music . The second one reminds me of walking around a town in one of the older Final Fantasy games. I'll listen to the other two tomorrow.

This is completely experimental and hopefully once it's been played through it can be improved but here are my ideas so far.

Competitors choose four pokemon and PM them to the non playing referee (I decided on this because if people posted their pokemon choices then later people would just choose pokemon based on what others had chosen which would create an advantage). Each players' pokemon will not be revealed until the battle starts.

Each pokemon has 100HP
Each pokemon has one attack, a Type attack (Fire, Ice, Bug, Fighting etc)
They can attack any players pokemon and the resulting damage is as such:

Effective attack takes of 100HP (Bug attack on a psychic pokemon)
Neutral attack takes of 25HP (Water attack on psychic pokemon)
Non effective attack takes off 10HP (Water attack on a lightening pokemon)
Attacks from normal pokemon take off 50HP whoever they attack unless attacking rock types.whick take off 10HP

To make things simpler:
The Pokemon must be chosen from the Pearl/Diamond and below pokedex.
Duel type pokemon fire/ice for example take on the weaknesses of both those types but get two Type attack moves.

In Every post players must write the pokemon they have remaining and their HP.

(Warning: this is not nintendo vs. sony debate. Only debating the wii and the ps3)

Im going to go with the ps3. While the wii is nice, I'd rather not use buttons instead of swinging my wrist to swing a sword or golf club.

The ps3 has nice detailed graphics compared to the wii. I know that graphics is not everything but when it comes to good games sometimes graphics really does make a difference. One thing that is nice about the ps3 is that every game is eye candy, and you could play it just for the fact that the graphics are amazing and realistic. While the wii's graphics are fairly descent I am pretty sure we could all agree the ps3's graphics is much more superior to the wii's. Id also like to bring up that the ps3 has made some games almost like interactive movies, each unique and different. The online is much better and organized, with news constantly updated, added on content to games, and demos.

As more of an intense gamer I would say that the PS3 is better. It has motion controls, great graphics and some great titles. The Wii has a staggering 197 activity games on sale for it as well as 19 fitness games compared to the PS3's 39 activity games and 5 fitness games on sale from GAME. These games are great in moderation but I like my gaming to be a bit deeper than that. There are 57 roleplay games on the PS3 to buy compared to the Wii's 24 and 198 shooter games compared to the Wii's 37. It also trumps the Wii in the number of action/adventure games. Movements such as Operation Rainfall demonstrate the general anger and dissapointment in the Wii's games or more acurately lack of games. As innovative as the console is it is first and foremost a gaming console not a "trend setter".

The abysmal online system for the Wii is uncomparable to PSN or even XBL. There is also a lack of mature games for the system. Instead of having a mix like the other consoles it seems mostly littered with first party titles with a few third party gems.

The Wii also manages to miss out on big games that come multiplat to its two other rivals such as:

Final Fantasy 13
Resident Evil 5
Fallout
Skyrim
Bioshock
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Battlefield
etc

Profession: Previously a test subject for a possible cure to the virus. Only partal Non mutated survivor, because of injection prior to exposure to the virus. The cure is still under development.

Jed looked at the old man still grinning at him, he had been grinning so long that the hairs on Jed's arms began to rise. He shifted away from him and turned to Sakura.
"We should go inside, my flat's not far from heere. From there we should pack some necessities for our journey, food, clothes, equiptment. Anything we might need."
And with that Jed started off towards his flat.

Arty left the castle feeling in a bit of a daze. He knew the fat man was going to inquire about what he had stolen from the castle and he would have to admit that he had stolen nothing. He headed into a dense forest and wondered around the trees trying to understand why the king had done such actions.
"He's a betrayer," Arty muttered out loud.
But was he? Deep down inside it seemed that far from being a betrayer the king was trying to secure peace for all who lived in the land. He just hoped the king knew what he was doing as there would be many who would rather kill themselves than break bread with monsters.

When Bentham awoke the first thing he saw was a hat and dark grey eyes. He blinked to see Lucas smirking at him. He sat up and rubbed his head and peered round at the new arrivals one had a distinctive band around his eye and dirty blonde hair. Early twenties, Bentham reckoned. The other was a young kid. DQ10 was not what I was expecting at all, I'm very intrigued by it though by only snag is the possibility of a monthly fee. Apart from that... looks promising.

The addon will be required for very few games and even fewer will be games worth getting.

I don't think RPGs need multiple endings to be considered as such they are just one type of RPG an open ended RPG. An RPG to me is a game that has well developed characters and story, focuses on stats, levelling up, items iventories etc. And is of a pretty decent length.

If it is true I bet all the Yoshi fans on the site will be happy about this news

A man was shot dead by police and people are really angry about it. The official statement is that he shot at police but we won't know for sure until the ballistic results come in tomorrow

As far as I'm aware, some people were injured, but no one had any serious injuries. It started off as a protest, but then descended into a riot. From what I've seen, most of the people involved had no interest in the protest, but just wanted to cause trouble. That's the second time a protest in London has ended in violence in the last year.

8 policeman have been taken to hospital some with serious injuries, several people have lost their homes. This is a little bit worse seeing as people didn't lose their homes in that and it was contained to one place. This is happening in about six different areas of London and it is about a man's death rather than student fees.

I can hear people RIGHT NOW shouting and breaking things on the local main road. I'm just hoping they don't cross the threshold and set anywhere near me alight...

I was just wondering whether everyone has been keeping up with them as apparently North America are really interested in the chaos that has been unfolding here. In started off in one borough of London but quickly spread even to my borough where the town center has been smashed and shops have been looted.

I'd like it to play like Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. I really liked that metroidvania feel to it, in comparison to the stage navigation of a lot of the others. I also feel some amazing things could come of using that, in terms of the Wii U controller.
