Cy slowly raises himself up after resting on the ground for a few moments. A feeling of intense rage overwhelms him and his eyes start to turn light up and radiate light. An aura of light energy surrounds him as he angrily sprints though the flaming ground toward the monster. He stares at the last head for a moment until the monster notices him. Cy, moving faster than ever, slips though the tentacles that attempted to lash at him. Cy then stomped the ground and roared "Enough!" In a fluid movement, Cy sliced through the monster's tentacles one after the other, decimating every last tentacle. It appeared easy, thanks to the tentacles having already been partially melted.

All that was left of the monster was one head and part of its body. Cy, angrily and full of hatred, stared at the creatures damaged body. The flames around him do not affect him, only giving him power from the radiation of light. Cy, looking like a different person, takes an attack stance readying to kill the monster in cold blood.

Hearing Dean, Cy runs straight for the vulnerable point that Vacili exposed. The monster makes a piercing shriek as Cy approaches it and begins to rapidly flail its tentacles. In a fluid motion, he rolls and dodges past all of the thrashing tentacles. Getting past the last flair, Cy jumps fairly high in the air with one fist raised. As he descends upon the vulnerable point on the monster, Cy's fist is charged and glows with light energy. Cy brings this force from his fist straight onto the monster, creating a small eruption of slime and guts from part of the monster's body. Cy and sends him across the field.

Cy looks to be in extreme pain and looks up at Mr. John from his lying position. The teacher simply stands there, watching the fight.

(Haha, guys I really wanted the 3 beasts to serve a purpose as an enemy that the whole group had to face- not two people overtaking them all ((and in a manner that was fairly overpowered)). See, that left the rest of us with nothing to do. Basically, try to think of others and how everyone in the RP can be involved and to push the story )

Mr. John smirked as he watched the two boys' pride in themselves. Cy could see the teacher's eyes that he was not done. Mr. John stepped further away from the scene and- out of a nearby forest- a gigantic, tentacled, three headed monster slithered towards the group. Mr. John turned his gaze away from the two boys and calmly said to the rest " Now show me how prepared you are".

Cy could only stare at the huge monster in awe. It looked like a three-headed squid that was covered in a slime substance. Each head roared, exposing their sharp teeth.It slithered around slowly, but each wave of its many tentacles looked like it could knock someone out.

Cy turned to Dean. "This... this is ridiculous! Are they trying to kill us?" Despite his nervousness, Cy still felt somewhat confident with Dean beside him. "You know what? Maybe we can do this." Cy does a quick stretch of his arms, then closes his eyes. The morning sun revitalizes him with energy, and Cy stores this energy in the palms of his hands. He runs closer to the monster and fires two beams of energy at one of it's heads. The monster recoils for a moment, but seems to recover quickly. It tries to slap down Cy with one of its large tentacles, but Cy manages to roll out of the way. Cy yells, "Yeah, I don't think this isn't going to be easy!"

(For the above two, and anyone else confused: I wanted to inform you that the classes at Welland Academy don't work like real-life classes. So instead of Beast/Monster Combat I and Beast/Monster Combat II being different classes, they refer to the same class but different students have different ability (referring to their rank, I is low, V is high). So, right now everyone taking Beast/Monster Combat is fighting the 3 beasts as shown in my latest post. Please edit your post to include this, thanks! I wanted to make it more simple, so sorry if it's too convoluted.)

Cy gets up from his seat and follows after Vacili to the field where a tall, muscular man stands in front of a large cage. The group of Beast/Monster Combat students stand infront of him in a group, awaiting their first instructions. The man introduces himself as Mr. John and welcomes the students to the class. He warns them all that the course is difficult and dangerous. Cy folds his arms and confidently looks straight at Mr. John. Mr. John then states his one and only instruction for the day: Always be prepared.

Mr. John then opens the cage, revealing 3 large, snarling beasts that looked like mutated bears. Backing away from scene, Mr. John told the students to defeat them strategically. Cy instantly puts himself in a fighting position, shoots a grin at Vacili, and prepares to face the monsters.

Cy gives a glance to Vacili as he takes the other kid's seat.

"I'd rather not talk about it." Cy crosses his arms and looks forward at the stage. A middle-aged women is at the podium explaining the basics of Welland Acedemy: Rules, how to use the facilities (cafeteria, pool, fields). She is quite peppy and excited to start the new year. Behind her, a few of the people in the administration seat, including the Headmaster. His face keeps a stern look and his head pans the audience of gifted students. Cy wonders why he is so serious. Cy turns back to Vacili.

"When someone sees those guns of yours, you're on your own, pal.

(IMPORTANT: In order to make classes more streamlined, I've decided to change the tier structure of classes. Every class will include five tiers of education/adeptness, I being the lowest and V being the highest. Please adjust your schedules accordingly. Sorry for any inconvenience.)

Cy wakes up to the sound of his dorm door closing and finds that Vacili has left. He prepares for the day, doing all the normal morning preparations. Cy walks up to his door and reads his schedule:

Beast/Monster Combat II
Martial Arts V
Chemistry II
Energy Control I
Technology and Weaponry Workshop II

Cy, after reading his schedule felt somewhat glum. He thinks to himself "A 1 for Energy Control? How could they know...?" Cy gets some stuff together, (a map, his written schedule, etc.) And leaves the dorm to the theater. He does not encounter others on his way to the theater, and simply takes a seat at the theater to prepare for Orientation.

Chapter 1 Story:

The new students at Welland Academy interacted and some got to know each other. The students already present at the academy integrated with the new students, ready to offer them help. All of the students began to settle in their dorms and talk to others, though some kept to themselves. A new day begins with the students awaking to find their class schedules on their dorm door. Every student is required to first attend the Orientation conducted by Headmaster John Pralen, then they are free to enter classes. However, in the midst of all the business of starting school, students can't change the feeling that they are being watched and something is wrong at the school...

Headmaster Pralen's Morning Orientation:
Class Structure:
- 5 Classes a day
- There will be time for lunch, and breaks in between classes
- I will have a hands-off approach to classes, everyone should choose for themselves when classes start/end, in a way that includes others opinions
- It is advised that you create your schedule with others in mind, so that you can interact with others in class
- Classes will be governed by yourselves (I obviously can't make a teacher character for every class), but be sure that classes engage in things pertinent to the class being given

Classes with brief description:
- Classes are being somewhat limited to ensure that we're all interacting with each other and aren't in a million different classes
- Also, the roman numerals refer to ones adeptness (like a stage of ability) in that class, and not a different class like real school. So someone well accomplished in Beast Monster Combat would be at III but still in the same class as those on I. Every class will include five tiers of education/adeptness, I being the lowest and V being the highest.

Main Classes:
Beast/Monster Combat - Learn about how to defeat the monsters and beasts that are rising up in the world
Martial Arts - Learn hand-to hand combat for fighting humans
Chemistry - Learn how to create poisons, explosives and chemicals used in weaponry
Energy Control - If your power is based on any type of energy, learn how to release and store energy
Technology & Machine Workshop - Learn how to create weaponry and machines helpful in everyday life or combat
Home Economics - Learn basics of living as a normal person (culinary arts, etc) and how to integrate with regular society
Herbology - Learn about health and methods of healing. Also includes some lessons on toxic herbs

Astronomy
[You may add your own ideas for classes, but it's not guaranteed that others will want to join the class you thought of]

Other Notes:
- At this point, if you want to join the RP, you must have a character who has already been at the school or a character that is arriving to the academy late

(If everyone is ready, a new day is about to begin and school schedules/classes will be given. Finish any necessary situations you are in for the day)

Cy walks to the mirror the room and looks at himself. He rubs his face as he looks upon his reflection.

"No, no, I'm fine... Besides, I don't want to miss class tomorrow." Cy seemed to be getting less happy-go-lucky and more stern. "I really think you should lay off on the guns and explosives. What are you worried about anyway? We're safe in here"

Cy returned to his bed and solemnly watched the sun set.

(^Yeah, pretty much. Are we all ready for classes to start?)

Outside of the academy, in a corner of the building, Cy falls to the ground grabbing his chest. He uncontrollably thrashes his body for a moment then looks at the sun. Rays of light begin to radiate from his body and his eyes become bright as though each eye contained the sun. The light continued to pour from Cy and seemed to go to the sun for five minutes. Cy then relaxed and returned to normal. He breathed heavily and sat on the ground, leaning against the building.

After some time, Cy walked back into his building, sweaty and tired.

Cy nods as Vacili speaks.
Speaking to Dean, Cy says. "Yeah, I'm looking forward to Orientation classes and all that stuff. It's my first day, too." Cy turns to Vacili "Oh, really? I'm sure you'll adjust eventu-" suddenly Cy begins to cough violently, grabbing his chest. "I-I'm sorry, I need to go!" Cy sprints out of the room and through the halls.

Before grabbing the gun, Cy quickly perks up when hearing the door open, and moves his body to cover up Vacili's MP44.

"Oh, hi there. Yeah, I suppose we are neighbors." Cy smiles politely at Dean, but (with his hands behind his back) motions for Vacili to cover up the guns. Cy could not tell if Dean knew something or didn't, so he tried to distract Dean. "Nice to meet you! My name's Cy. And you?"

Hearing Vacili's plead, Cy pauses for a moment and stares at him. He thinks to himself, "If I let this guy parade around campus with an arsenal of weaponry, I'd be putting the whole school in danger... Well, if it comes down to it, I should be able to stop him."

After a moment, Cy crosses his arms and sighs. "Well, I don't think I want to get on your bad side" Cy gives his classic grin and reaches out for Vacili's hoard of weaponry. "Can I see how one of these works?"

Cy slowly takes a seat on his bed, watching Vacili intently.

"Yeah, you really made an impression" Cy clears his throat uncomfortably. "Well, my name's Cy. I, uh, I'm a pretty nice guy when you get to know me. I just came to this school because I needed to- I mean, I think it's the place for me. And what about you-" Cy pauses when he notices something underneath Vacili's bed. He immediately goes to pick up what he found to be: a gun. Whispering, "You can't have this here! You hid one from the guards?!"

Cy watches some of the others walk away and chuckles.

"That guy is one freak. I feel bad for the poor sap who rooms with him." Cy then checks his room number: 368, the same as Vacili's. Cy, not knowing, wanders off to find his room.

Cy watches as Vacili runs off, then clears his throat.

"Weird kid," Cy proclaims, as calm as ever. "Maybe we should tell someone? I don't know if I want to live near that guy." Cy walks over to the trail of fire. "Well, can anyone here deal with this? I'd hate to make this impression on the teachers..."

Looking at the teen, Cy raises his hand. Slowly, a ball of light forms in his palm. Cy raises his hand higher and diffuses the light, creating a quick burst of light to spread across the courtyard.

"I can control light," Cy says with a smile. "It's kind of cool actually, haha. And you? What's your power? Oh. And what's your name? I'm Cy."

Cy stays lounged on the bench as he looks around at all the people.

"Ha, we're just going to be a punch of crazy personalities, huh?" Cy says to himself aloud.

Lol, no! Freaky!

((I'm confused here, because I thought that Lucas was approaching Cy, but Dean shook Lucas's hand. Am I sitting next to Dean? Heh, someone else say something, and I'll continue RPing))

You have a gift. You may have to us or we may have heard of you, but we know you and can help aid you in the growth of your abilities. Perhaps people do not know of your gift. Maybe it causes you problems. Well, rest assured that there is a place for those like you.

Welland Academy is a beautiful and luxurious boarding school for those with special gifts like you. We will tend to your needs and help you master your abilities while receiving an education. You will learn academics and combat, both to help you on your road through life. There are many dangers that this world can offer and all gifted must stand together for their own safety and the safety of the world.

The professors at Welland Academy are excited for the growth of our school. You are not alone and you can find a new home at Welland.

Cy walked into the courtyard of the academy smiling and looking around. He wore dark, slightly baggy jeans and a tight black t-shirt.

"Wow," Cy stated with a grin. "This place looks even better than the brochures." Cy, with his bags in hand, sat on a nearby bench to enjoy the scenery. Cy had never seen greener grass and there was a beautiful fountain in the center of the courtyard that he couldn't take his eyes off of. The sun was shining bright, and rays of light seemed to radiate especially on Cy. Cy leaned back on the bench. "I think I'm going to like it here."
