Firstly the only reason I will be buying a ps4 is because of the amount of 3rd party games coming.Also the wiiu has one fps which isnt even getting the dlc other platforms have with no explanation offered.That aside I am not buying one because of being a moron or a graphics whore, its because I feel the wiiu has been badly supported sortware wise.Loved the tech, also things may change down the line for wiiu but as a consumer I dont expect,need or want to have to wait for more software support of te genre I like.So wish the wiiu well just had no idea the software range was going to be as it is.

I hate to say it but with the exception of seconds of bayonnetta 2 and xenoblade game in progress I havent seen much to suggest that the wiiu is capable of those type of graphics.Killzones graphics last night were amazing textures,water,mirror effect and smoke all looked markedly better than anything console based I have seen to date.Oh and if the ps4 can produce graphics like that now pre launch what will it be capable of later?I mean these boards are full of people saying it ill take time for devs to produce better graphics.With the exception of monster hunter I dont see any other games for pre e3 that are going to help the wiiu sell millions of consoles in year where january saw 57k sales.

As someone who has bought many consoles and pcs I can safely say that drm does not bother me.It definitely wouldnt sway me to one console or another based on which would be easier to pirate for.The word legit being used for a console that wont have these drm features is probably the wrong word.You do come off as a bit fanboyish in this thread anyway.I just am sick of various members on here who probably have not been gaming as long as me telling me how blind I am for not being able to see the virtue of wii u.An under-supported and currently barren of games system.But hey no drm! Both games I would have actually bought on wiiu if available.Would have been very interested to see platinums metal gear as a pre cursor to bayonetta 2.Also hear really good things from friends about crysis 3.

Agree totally but not with any of its wiiu available titles.Also been gaming 25years and seen the japanese market become less influential on the rest of the worlds gaming habits.I mean in the 90s if I played anything it came from either japanese publishers or ideas.Not so now the market has changed and continus to do so.A lot of the bigger companies realise that commercial success in gaming does not hinge on japanese success.Im glad that many on here like japanese style games but to be honest I and others like me have been there and done that.


Sorry if this whole thing seems bad tempered I just fail to see how everyone is convincing themselves nothing is wrong when the console is making the exact same mistakes it made with the wii (as regards third party support).Things will be a lot tougher for nintendo this time and the lanch line up and the current batch of things on the horizon alone wont save the wiiu.Granted nintendo are not at risk financially as a company but I fear for the wiiu.Up against newer tech from big players who are prepared to take risks, something nintendo werent prepared to do.

How can people complain about lack of third party support AND being sick of "re hashed Metroid zelda etc."? Why even buy a Wii U when you know that Nintendo have always struggled with third party support in recent years AND you're sick of their best and most popular franchises? Honestly doesn't make sense to me. I bought Wii U hoping for decent 3rd party support but knowing that Nintendo themselves will always release amazing first party titles.

Its easy to complain about both because when it dawns on you that you wont be getting any AAA third party titles, you then wonder what you are getting and will see the same old nintendo franchises.Not saying the individual games wont be good or even great.Just that they dont seem to be making any effort to create something more modern (uncharted,halo etc) like the other console makers.I mean would it really hurt nintendo to throw some money at a fps?They seem to have a tried and tested system to make money and just stick to it.This can be seen as smart or silly.They cant hope to expand beyond serious nintendo fans with this outlook
