#138836 Can I use regular headphones with my Gamepad?

Okay, I bought the Turtle Beach N11's from Best Buy but the sound is just waaaay too low (gamepad volume and headset volume both all the way up). I really only want to use the headset for gaming on the gamepad only or a multi-player game, does anyone have a recommendation of a decent headset that will give me the great sound like my Turtle Beach X12's I use on my computer? Just about sick of not being able to hear anything with this headset and will return them for a different pair.

I got it, updating the system now, then got to go get the girlfriend from work. Will report back with my thoughts when she gives me a chance to play lol (aint't that messed up? I pay for it and go get it, but when she gets home she prolly hogs it?).

The OS takes up 4gb, we don't know how big the update is yet.

I do wish we knew how big the update is though...I use 4G mobile broadband (cellular internet) and my data limit is 10gb a month which lasts me pretty much a whole month. I've been trying to limit my usage as much as possible this month since they announced their was a day one update for all the internet stuff, but I'm still a little over 50% used right now. Oh well, I'm prepaid anyways so I can't go over my limit it just asks to add more money to start my plan over which would be fine as the Wii U comes out pretty much with 1 week left in my month.

UPlay points are only earned by playing Ubisoft games...it's a cool way to get extras for a game really, been using it for years with their X360 and PC games.

The EB where I pre-ordered at doesn't plan to do a midnight launch or open early Sunday at this time...Really thinking of taking all but the $150 of store credit off my pre-order early morning on the 17th and going to try my luck at my local Best Buy's midnight launch.

Glad to see Mass Effect 3 is releasing the 13th with Assassin's Creed 3. Now I'm tempted to cancel my NewEgg order for those two and pick them up at Toys R Us on the 13th and save $30 (next week's ad includes some Wii U games in a buy 1 game $59.99 get $10 off buy 2 get $30 off), I'd save about another $3 but have to pay it back in tax so it would still equal out. Hopefully Zombie U will be out on the 13th too and if lucky NSMBU (doubtful) to save even more..

UPDATE!!! teh ups man in the truck came back around and said he had missed some packages for meh D:!~ , he delivered a big box n 2 little envelopes :3 i nao has my LegoCity Undercover and ZombiU along wif the Wii U, I am to hyper and excited to fiddle with my phone and take more pics right nao so I will be posting tomorrow I wish I had the hardware to stream but I dont have one of those little boxes or a video input on my pcs >.< I would show you teh sexyness of teh gaems :3 XD im to hyper gotta calm down or I'll hyper ventilate, see you all later must play nao :3

Interesting...because Lego City Undercover won't be released until maybe Christmas. It's a launch window game not launch day.

Look's like I'm going to be getting two 32gb cards. 1 for my DSLR camera, and the 2nd for my Deluxe Wii U.

Anyone fine it remotely odd that not a single Wii U game is on sale yet though? I mean...not even some of the crap shovel ware being released...

In a way...for the "hardcore" crowd that doesn't like hearing screaming little kids in their ear while playing games like Call of Duty, this is a good thing. Why? Because now mom or dad has to go buy their kid a $50+ headset to talk junk to other people online.

Going to my Best Buy, EB and GameStops later to see if theirs have been set up yet. My Best Buy game section employee was the one that leaked the demo units being set up I went Tuesday and they already had it in the back, he showed me a picture of it. Said they had to wait for the Nintendo Rep to set it up. Hopefully it's up when I visit today, if so I'll take some videos!

I've got a wii u deluxe paid in full at EB with a pro controller.

Got the following on preorder through NewEgg:
Assassins Creed 3
Zombie U
Scrbblenaughts
Mass effect 3

Going to get NSMBU on launch day as well. Thinking about getting Black Ops2 and Darksiders 2 as well.
