the main games have always been on handhelds, with consoles getting some hit and miss spinoffs. we will see a Pokemon game for the Wii U, but most likely not a main one. perhaps Pokemon U?

tap accelerate each time the screen goes black on the countdown. it goes "3 -tap- 2 -tap- 1 -tap and hold- GO!"^^^
I rarely get the boost at the start as well. Never read how to do that.

as far as i know with Wii U/3DS connectivity, you can send Mii's from 3DS to Wii U. i haven't tried it the other way. i don't expect much from this until we get more games.

haven't gotten the patch yet... but a system update started when i changed the time (just realized i had it set 12 hours fast). it's like 593 MB or something. so is this the patch or is it a system update for the Wii U?

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed requires a downward swipe on the GamePad (which i had to look up because it was never even mentioned in one of the worst instruction manuals i've ever seen).

i've noticed my load times have actually gotten a bit better. of course, loading things like Miiverse and the eShop can be attributed to my internet speed. but games and menus have gotten better for me. not great, but better.

mine works fine in the main living area, i can use it all the way upstairs, but as soon as i step into my room, it cuts out. it also works fine when i start down the hall and stand by the bathroom door, but, once i step inside, it cuts out. ultimate GamePad range trolling.

wow sounds like everybody's having problems. i only have some fairly minor things:
- my GamePad's screen is not perfectly flat. it's mostly noticeable while drawing the line in Yoshi's Fruit Cart. i never got my hands on a Wii U before now, so i don't know if it's just mine. it could very well also be the screen protector, i didn't touch it once before putting it on.
- GamePad brightness settings? no? damn.
- toggle on/off wifi. i have very limited data, i don't want this sucking it all up without my permission.
- gloss. we all knew about this before but... blah.
- the Wii U survey isn't showing up on my Club Nintendo. i linked my account, and instead i got the Nintendoland survey... which doesn't do $#!* for me since the bundled copies don't come with codes.
and Walmart didn't have Sonic Racing. oh well. but really my setup went quite smoothly, just a few wifi hiccups. and obviously Miiverse isn't working yet. my update only took a little over an hour... BUT it should have came with all that already.
so i'm not mindblown, but i'm doing pretty good compared to others. i hope you all get everything straightened out.

i would say Manga Red. yes, Game Red can have whatever team you want him to have, all level 100's, BUT he's limited to the games laws. Game Red could never have Pikachu charge it's Thunderbolt in it's pokeball, allowing mere seconds to seriously effect the outcome of battle. so just based on how each "world" functions, i say Manga Red.Red's the better trainer, but really the question should be:
Who's the better Red?
Game Red, or Manga Red?

i signed up when i got my 3DS, i got Platinum, and now i'm 20 away from Gold, i hope to reach platinum again but i'm not worried. the only thing i've gotten were the hanafuda cards, which i love. i'll wait til i amass more coins and see what looks good.
