I managed to get it on with out tv, just point the remote to the off tv, when you feel the wii mote buzz, press A , sure hope they allow VC games to be controlled by the gamepad, playing majoras mask is nice and clear on the game pad, just awkward to position it on your knee while controlling with the wii classic controller

can we use our old walkthrough or will I need a new one?, I am thinking the only changes to the game it self is the triforce search?

well I can see the xbox one and ps4 being great consoles from the start, great titles to keep you entertained, the wii u has been out for ages, I am still waiting for some games!

anyways, Im not getting a xbox one, nor a ps4, im going to get me a second hand 360 to tide me over till the zelda's and Mario's release, even call of duty is pointless playing, the only mode populated is team deathmatch

Gamecube was a lot more powerful than ps2, and it didnt get a fraction of the multiplats ps2 and xbox shared.

Its not about system power between nintendo and 3rd parties, and it never has been.

Id be more worried about xbone. It was supposed to be a powerhouse, and it failed to deliver on that end. Hard. And now its public enemy #1 in a variety of ways.ps2 wasn't

The gamecube wasn't that much more powerful, just a little, and some of the reasons for the lack of ports if I remember because Nintendo choose to use the small discs, and there was not enough pressing factories for 3rd party devs or summet, Man seems like Nintendo cant get to grip with the times

Your comment makes no sense. On one hand agreeing with OP, then saying you have no good games to play. OP's point was regarding his thoughts of the Wii U's power compared to Xbox One. Not having games to play has nothing to do with this thread.

It is releated!, because if the wii u had decent power, then other devs would make games for it, even port  multiplatform games, porting games easily and quickly without spending a few years learning  how to gain all the consoles power requires the destination console to be more powerful, much like when 360 games get ported to PC, the wii u is not underpowered compared to the 360, but is when you need to do direct ports quickly, devs had a few years to get to know the ps3 and 360 so they have no issues, The Wii does not have the luxury of time now, especially now the 2 powerhouses xbox one and ps4 are coming, the wii u is left behind! I am so disappointed and feel ROBBED!!!!

sorry but the op is right, the wii u at the moment is horse scat, I mean its just sat there doing nowt, I have to wait ages for anything decent to come out FFS, windwaker till October ffs, that's 4 friggin months away, might as well pack it away, least it wont gather about a centimetre of dust!

I tell u what, if Nintendo said they will release 007 goldeneye, the original n64 version with better resolution and multiplayer options, Nintendo will win the console war, hands down!

This console is only not underpowered for the likes of Mario and Zelda. 

Everyone is complaining that the wii u has no games but so far the PS4 and XBO have nothing special.

the wii u has been out for ages,  its a known fact the wii u has a poor selection of games even now.  and xbox one is getting 15 exclusives inb the first year, not to mention full backing from the 3rd party developers and its not even out yet! 

Why graphics? Doesn't gameplay matter the most? Who cares about graphics, that is why Crysis was garbage.

I really loved crisis 1 and warhead!, they were really great graphics and gameplay, most at the time of release could not run it so it got a little slated, in fact people still have issues running it as it was so ahead of its time,  but the SP was fantastic, the MP was ok but not enough players, and the story line has continued through 3 more games, so you say it was rubbish, think again!. Cry engine 2 was the best, wish more games were made on it really.

the problem is, if its getting that much publicity that the console in inferior to the 360, and EA are not supporting it. I feel that the console sales are going to completely flop, not that I care like as I like my wii u + we know at least we have the new Zelda's and Mario's etc, but for the future of the wii u, its looking bad , almost seems like Atari jaguar or dreamcast territory. If Nintendo do not bite back with something things will get worse.

because the wii was basically a gamecube with motion control. And the physics shown on the video, I don't think the wii u will be capable to doing that, nor does it have PhysX, its amd remember.

When the nes came out, all we cared about was it was 8 bit and played good fun games, then snes came out all we cared about was 16 bit and played good fun games, n64 came out and was 64 bit and played good fun games, gamecube came out and we just cared that it was 128 bit, WE JUST PLAYED AND HAD FUN, which is what consoles are for, We choose Nintendo for Mario, Metroid and Zelda and some other games specific to the system, like always, so those who are,  lets say obsessed with hardware, get over it and just play and have fun!

Internet is good but its spoilt somethings like song sales and console wars, I remember snes, and megadrive, you chose which game you wanted to play the most, sonic or Mario, simple!

Nintendo is probably allowing it to be hacked so it will help promote sales, the thought of free games has to be an incentive haha.

why didn't Nintendo let us play at the same time with the gamepad, I mean playing on your own makes it impossible to get all the star coins, which encourages you to have to switch on a tv and add another player, and force one to make platforms, arggggg nintendo

My wii was softmodded, but I also had purchased software, the wii u transfer program works perfectly, it transfer the purchased stuff and leaves any homebrew stuff alone and intact, GREAT!

Just booted my Wii U up with a little anticipation of the update, after all its Thursday, and still Nothing, no sign.

I hope they add this feature, sick of the drive going like mad when black ops is in, I reakon there maybe a few failing drives eventually because of certain games are constantly loading textures etc

I went to grainger games today in the uk and seriously you wanna see the wii u section, its like 3 games wide and 5 games tall. not looking that good TBH, cant ever see it competing with Microsoft or the 360 or there new offerings soon ,with have a massive amount of space reserved in store for them.
