I can understand the frustration at only one console to an id but I also understand Nintendo's stance on it as it makes it the system that bit securer.. Having been hacked on the playstation network..

Yeah, I know right? I think Nintendo waiting for HD played in there favor. And my son will love the Wii U. Both of them will once my youngest can play. This was my christmas present to myself, but I know my kids and I will all be enjoying this. And I like how Nintendo has games for kids and me. I love Nintendo for that.
Same here, Christmas present and birthday present for me....
He loves his mario games so it is great being able to play together and showing him the mario and zelda games I played when I was his age!! Almost as excited as he is sometimes about playing!!

Lol.. Not managed all over house yet but going to try and optimise the u's position so I can use the game pad in more locations!! No holding out though as there are quite a few walls!!!

It was a good move on Nintendo's part to package a HDMI cable as supposedly this is the hd generation... Something perhaps the ps3 should have come with as that did claim to be at the forefront of the hd revolution yet came packaged with a normal av cable...
I know I won't be able to get my son off the console when he comes down next!

Yer really pleased with how good the screen is on the game pad.. Just have to find a place for the u where I can play the pad any where in the house!
