ok, i was told by customer service that they will allow me to use my original account again, but can take upto 1 month to do this,
the 2 purchases i made which were trine 2 and nano assult i am not allowed to have, as these games are locked to the console.
the licence for the game is owned by nintendo, there is no way they can transfer them for me.

im a bit dissapointed in nintendo for this as the other 2 systems out there allow you to deactivate and then later in the year re-activate
and download your content again.

i explained to the rep that i would never buy another digital download again off nintendo, and was considering selling my wii u
as there stopping me using content i paid for and should own.

even if i had backed up my purchases onto an external drive it still would not have worked as its locked to the console you purchase
it on.

hope this clears a few things up, cheers

ok update, have just spoke to nintendo, i can now use my original account as there going to unlink my old account so i can use it on my new console, BUT, they will not transfer my purchases of trine 2 and nano assult to my new console as they say they cant do that.

so whoever stole my console also has access to my 2 games i paid for, and nintendo will not do anything about it,
well done nintendo, a good way of looking after your paying customers!

stolen? u have to report it as it can easily be traced...lol how it got stolen? You took it with u at school and advertised it? hahaha

You have to call nintendo for the account transfer, thats why... YOU have to report that it got stolen... not kidding.. or else, they wont do it... At the same time they will trace the thieves and you can ask compentation after...!!! your money back plus more from the thieves (plus they go to jail). differently, you cannot use the same account in 2 wii Us, as its account is binded with each indevidual wii U.


ok? im a bit old for school but thanks for the compliment, yes i have reported it to the police but the chances of getting it back are nil, and i have just tried logging into my account on the new wii u and it says you cant access it on 2 consoles, so i have no choice but to wait for an email back from nintendo who will hopefully help.
i didnt really wish to create a new account and loose the purchases i made so im gonna have to wait and see if they can transfer it.

hi everyone, i had to purchase a new wii u system due to my first being stolen,
ive been trying to log in with the name and password i created on the first but it keeps telling me its wrong, does anyone have any links for account recovery or password recovery please.

I saw in the window of my local C.E.X. store, on thier trade in price list, that they were giving 30 quid trade in for Far Cry 3 on....the WiiU! good luck with that then. nice to see they know thier stuff eh?


lol, yea im not keen on C.E.X, prices on used items are more than purchasing new from other places.

Looks like wii u isn't going to get far cry 3.
Also just read on another source were not having far cry 3, resident evil 6 or dead space 3.
considering trading in my wii u while the prices are good as i dont want to be stuck with a console that's only good for just dance and disney games lol

I had the chance to play a bit over the weekend on my mates ps3 and really enjoyed it, hope they do port it over as really like the wii u.

Miiverse is good. Helpfull hints and awesome artwork.
Gamepad is very responsive, nice screen but strangely placed face buttons, am getting used to it now tho.
Deluxe set. You get Nintendo land with it.
Battery life im getting 4-6 hrs out of a charge, and you cannot use as or 3ds charger on the gamepad.
Questions related to ds or 3ds someone else will have to answer as I don't own either, hope this info helps

after both updates when the console restarts ive allways ended up frozen, had to pull power out the back to restart it.
also purchased black ops 2 today, after it dont the initial update it just froze loading for about 15 mins, had to pull the power out the back and restart again, luckily its been fine since,
allways seems to be after an update it freeze's my wii u?

put a screen protector on it from new and use a microfiber cloth for the shell, works great.

there is still some good games on vita, uncharted was great and there bound to make a second, also taking the wii u on a car journey or plane isn't going to work, so id keep it for some on the move gaming.
but hey its your choice and your hardware

hi all, im going to trade in sonic racing tomorrow as its not my type of game, just wondered what other peoples views were of the above games, i do like a single player game with maybe a little multiplayer.
is black ops 2 a very short single player campaign?
