Thanks for the help guys. I've managed to get him back to chapter 13 and your right, it was better the second time as you notice more. Can anyone tell me how to back this up to an sd card now so I don't have to do it a third time!?

What's your problem chrop? Are you this rude to everyone on this site or is it just me personally? I registered on this forum because I had an actual problem that I thought I could get some help with. After all isn't that why these things are here in the first place? Or is it just so as you can get your kicks by being a dick to other people? I posted the question yesterday but didn't get any reply so decided to post again this morning. Like I said, I'm new here and wasn't sure if I'd posted correctly.

Yes, I did read the link before I clicked on it but didn't just assume that it was some kind of wind up. I though I might get one person who maybe wanted to help for the sake of wanting to help another human being. Thanks guys, looks like ill have to play it all through again. I had to do it again a few weeks ago when the same thing happened but luckily he'd only got to chapter 4 so wasn't too bad. Its a great game but very easy for kids to do this (it doesnt ask you to confirm the overwrite/delete) and after you've done the same levels 3 times it starts to get annoying!

I know theres a site called wiisaves.com where you can download other peoples saved games but there nothing there for the wii u. I just wondered whether there was a way of using someone else's saved game somehow?

Hi Guys, I need your help!

My 6yr old son saved his birthday money and bought lego city undercover for the Wii U. He loves it and had got to chapter 12 (just after you unlock the helicopter) but then accidently deleted his saved game. I've never seen him so gutted! Its taken him ages to get this far.

 

I couldn't work out how he'd done it at first but I've but I've figured it out (others should be aware):

On the New game/Load game screen he accidently moved the curser up and selected new game - it then takes you to the next screen to select a slot to save in.He selected his save game not realising he had selected 'new game' and bam! easy as that! Gone.

 

My question is, can i recover it? (it wasn't backed up to an sd card) and if not, is there somewhere i can download someone else's saved game from chapter 12? Surely others have had this problem?
