But it will not turn on all I get is the blue light for about 2 seconds then nothing

Thanks I have tried that and now I get the blue light come on for a few seconds and the it goes out again with no orange light now. Jut wonder if the batt is just totally dead and needs a long charge

Please help I just got my wii u today and have had the game pad on charge in the docking station that came with it for over 3 hours and the orange light is still on and it will not turn on so I can't even set up my wii u.
