Well I have only shake it with no luck, I will try today tapping carefully and will let you know...
grahamf, when you say that throwing it could work, you mean throw it once the game has started and I'm seeing the problem? or before turn on the console?
( btw these forums are great 
here's a lot of activity, I posted my issue in Nintendo Support forums but nobody have replied so far )

Hey cryscharmander,
Did you get your problem solved? I'm having the same issue (but when playing Zelda Wind Waker HD), also I'm in similar position regarding call the Nintendo line or take it to warranty
