PS4 easy, I don't trust MS after trying to pull the DRM and no used games policy over our heads. Maybe they backed off now but what if they do a 360 :D and say we changed pur mind or we leave it up to the publishers now wetrher you can wan't to play a used game now.
Screw MS, screw lame ass Kinect that nobody wants but has to pay for(and I'm a long time xbox owner) + it's a $100 cheaper.

It's not so much kids working at 14 it's the fact the console could have been built by kids forced to work nights and overtime, just so they wouldn't get kicked out of school.
Some of you guys seem to be missing that point.

"Foxconn found itself embroiled in yet another labour controversy this week, after it emerged the company employed school kids, some as young as 14.

Now a Chinese gaming website has learned that the school kids were involved in the manufacture of Nintendo’s new Wii U consoles. The kids, aged 14 to 16, worked overtime and at night to help churn out the consoles, which will be bought for spoiled brats in the west by their guilt ridden parents. And no, it’s not ironic, it’s nothing short of disgusting.

After the reports of underage interns emerged, Foxconn was quick to point out that they were free to leave whenever they liked. However, this does not seem to have been the case. Games QQ claims the kids used in Foxconn’s generous internship program were practically forced to participate. If they refused to do so, they were threatened by their teachers, who told them they might be kicked out of school or lose their graduation diplomas.

One 14-year-old worker told the site that he worked in the night shift, from 7:40PM to the morning.

“Whenever the work is done is when you get off your shift. If you don't finish the work, he (the production line foreman) won't let you end your shift. Usually, you can get off by 7 AM. My arms would hurt from the work," he is reported as saying.

The teen worked several consecutive night shifts and asked for sick leave, which he didn’t get. Eventually he was sacked and allegedly told that he would be kicked out of school. One student claims no days off were given at all.

Nintendo told Kotaku that it is investigating the matter and taking the allegations very seriously."

I can bet everything it won't be 20x less powerful plus outdated architecture. If you understand tech you understand yes Wii u will be less powerful but not anything close to what Wii was to ps360


No one ever said it would 20x more powerful, but it can make a difference like DX10 to DX11, tesselation in DX11 makes good looking games great. Look im still pumped for the Wii U so don't think I'm trying to downplay it, i'm not just a little concerned of what the future may hold after the others join in.

Yes very much so mainly becuase it's black and I personally think it looks better then the white console. I consider everything else thrown tn the deluxe version as freebies.

It's funny but before the Wii U was coming out it was all gameplay over graphics( still true )but for some reason that mindset has changed with some people. Sure the Wii U looks like a great console full of a lot potential but the one thing I'm afraid of is being left behind once the PS4/NextBox come out. We all know they both will have more power, how much more no one knows yet but I just hope devlopers that release games muliplat will not have to make things look worse and cut corners just to have them run next gen games on the Wii U.
About disrespecting Nintendo and winning the consoles wars to that I say who cares, I never got caught up or understood why people would really care about that stuff to begin, maybe only to make themselves feel better and say "look I was right ****** sold more consoles, wahoo I'm number 1, hahahahahaha,yessssssss".
I buy all consoles for the games and to have fun and really couldn't care who comes out on top with sales figures and such and probably will get a PS4,NextBox along with my Wii U to enjoy all of next gen.

Sellers are on crack if they think I would spend almost double from retail, hopefully NINTENDO ramps up production and releases more units for sale. Sad part is a lot of people would pay those prices.

I'm with you on this one at least for launch. If the Wii U would play all games on the gamepad alone it would be a first day buy( live in a very small apartment with 1 TV and getting a second one know is not an option, GF like to watch her shows) Don't get me wrong the U should be a great system butjust not sure if a good fit right now. Plus price is a big factor too and not knowing is half the battle.
