Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be updated on Wii U in April with off-TV play and cross-region online multiplayer. So, soon those in North America will be able to play with their friends over in Europe. Moe free downloadable quests are also in the plan for the next “several months”, with the first batch available at launch. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is due in March, for 3DS and Wii U.

Awesome news.

Screw this. The Wii-U game is coming out a month later is piss take. I'm buying it on 10th feb on xbox 360. I will just use the Wii U for first party games and me older consoles for multiplatform. It's sad to see the Wii-U is getting left behind on 3rd party support.

It doesn't need a price cut. It's already like £175 for the basic. All it needs is Nintendo A+ titles that will make full use of the consoles power and it will soon fly of the shelves.

Dr. Eggman has apparently harnessed the power of “six menacing creatures known as the Deadly Six,” but they have risen up against the demented doctor and now Sonic and Eggman will have to work together to stop the Deadly Six.

Sonic will make use of new parkour moves and improved Color Powers, and along with a single player adventure, the Wii U and 3DS versions feature a range of competitive multiplayer modes.

Each platform will also contain unique features: Wii U Color Powers can be controlled with the Wii U GamePad by tilting, touching, aiming, and can also be played using only the Wii U GamePad screen and with two player support mode.

The 3DS version will inlcude exclusive Special Stages and Color Powers unique to the Nintendo 3DS system.

Two levels are called ‘Wind Hill’ & ‘Desert Ruins’

Desert Ruins features candy and cake dessert environments

Sonic builds speed slowly

Brand new parkour system

Wisps are in the game

2 player support mode has been confirmed

Sonic is the only playable character

Tails, Knuckles & Amy appear

Planet is called Lost Hex

Rescuing animals influences unlocked content

Red Rings are back

Gold Cannons mark unlockables and secrets

More info from Sega. Definitely buying both versions

My Wii-U is already collecting dust and looks like it will be up until March when Rayman Legends comes out. I feel cheated out of my £350 quid i payed at launch.

Nice Article. I personally think all next gen consoles are in trouble tbh. Technology's now moving at a rapid pace. Consoles just feel old now.

There's so much threat now than their was 7 years ago like the surge in the mobile gaming industry, steam ect. Also the Economy is pretty bad both in USA and Europe so not many have the money to splash out on $500 game systems + $60 for each game.

All in all, I reckon Nintendo's done pretty well in these hard times. I suspect MS and Sony will struggle just like Nintendo have over the next year.

Orbis aka PS4 is the least threatening.

Sony are already up to their old tricks again. Apparently their ditching the famous dual shock controller and are in the process of making a new gamepad with a touchscreen in the middle... Hmmm, I wonder where they got that innovative idea from?
