Banner Submission Guidelines

In order to keep up a monthly banner, we will be needing user submitted banners.  Because the museum has some banner threads scattered, I figured that I would make a submission so that users can send me their banners as well as giving others a chance to try.

 

Now, the banner size requirement is 2000x300.  A sample is below.

In order to submit your banner, send me a private message with a title having something to do with the banner or monthly banner. Please submit a PNG image, not a JPEG.

I will accept banners at any time, even after voting for next month.  If you want a banner to be voted for a specific month, or not want it to be voted on for the next round, please let me know.

Because we started banner ideas up in the middle of this month, when voting opens, it will be for May's banner.

 

I will keep this thread open for suggestions, ideas, or questions, so feel free to ask.

Great to have some concrete guidelines here... Though I would suggest that banners would be required to be in .png format for best quality, but whatever. :P

 

Also, in case anybody wants it, I made a banner template. It's in teh spoilers. :P

I think the Wii U banner itself is added on over the banner you submit, but I could be wrong.^

I think the Wii U banner itself is added on over the banner you submit, but I could be wrong.^

 

'Tis, but you can just slap this over your banner to make sure nothing is gonna be covered up by the top or the search bar and then remove it from the final image. :)

'Tis, but you can just slap this over your banner to make sure nothing is gonna be covered up by the top or the search bar and then remove it from the final image. :)

Though I would suggest that banners would be required to be in .png format for best quality, but whatever. :P

I would have set that, but I know some people just can't get past using .jpegs.

Are you going to remove the "chat" bar from up there? I understand that it would make it not symmetrical so maybe you could also get rid of "Wii U GO" since no one uses that either, just a thought.

Well the fourm is for anything Wii U related, so i guess any game thats coming on the wii u.

Do any of you have any banners planned or in the works for submission?  If so, I can hold off a poll for a few more days (even into May).  So far, only 2 banners have been submitted.
