"The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra" 2012

70 years later Korra is the new avatar, successor of Aang. Will this steam-punk style sequel be as good as Avatar?!? Will the darker and more mature theme make things better or far worse?
Thoughts?!? On the plus side, It will involve the creators and producers of the original series.

**I finished "Avatar: The Last Airbender" some time ago and was amazed. It was artistic and creative, by the end I was hoping there would be a prequel. I was fascinated by General Iroh, and would like to know more of his past. Then I found out about the upcoming sequel "..Korra". It would be interesting to see what everyone thinks of Avatar, and what they make of the upcoming sequel. So whether your a fan of the series or not, let me know what you think!

I don't know If I'll be able to compare the two. I've seen Steamboy the movie and the steampunk style isn't necessarily my type of anime. On one note though, I did like the connection between steampunk and the early 1900's. But I welcome this with high hopes, Aangs son will be in it along with hopefully some other familiar faces and flash backs. I do also welcome the darker and more mature theme for the new series, I trust the original creators and know their artistic creation won't be a train wreck.

I've always wanted to do one of these first time introductions threads.
As you can tell I'm a huge Dragon Warrior fan along with Dragon Quest and many more rpg's.
While growing up my first system was a NES and then shortly after a SNES, making me a fan of old skool Nintendo.
I consider myself an intermediate when it comes to gaming, probably even a rookie but I do enjoy most gaming styles. Basically, I have a lot to learn.
The systems I currently own are as follows: Nes, Snes, Gameboy, N64, Gameboy Color, DS Lite, Wii, 3DS, along with a PS1 and PS2.
A couple more things, David Eddings was an amazing author who contributed to Dragon Warrior, and therefore placed his mark for the future of rpg's.
Blues Brothers is a classic movie and one of my favorites. I'm also a big anime fan so for anyone else who is, feel free and ask me questions or recommendations.

I look forward to meeting both new and familiar people on the Wii U Forums!!
