@WPC: You either get signed up for Playstation Plus, get invited to the beta via email, or just wait and see if they ever become available over the PSN.

Wow. GameStop must really be hurting for sales with the Vita. Where I live, they're offering a 4 gig memory card, a copy of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, MLB 12, Resistance: Burning Skies or Unit 13 with purchase of a wi-fi PS Vita. Not bad.

I wonder if Nintendo is perhaps shying away from 1080p in their games due to concerns with FPS? First party launch titles don't look too much of a step above AC3/Batman, so I do wonder what's stopping them from being in 1080p... D:

@DV: Well, also take this into consideration. This is Nintendo's first foray into fully HD games, I can understand why they'd not have them in 1080p.
Or I'm a bigger idiot than I assumed, and it's not that hard to get them in 1080p. xP

I think between my siblings, parents, and me, I think we have enough saved up for the Wii U. $500-550 should be enough for what we want methinks. :P
