@ feld0 I can't agree with you anymore. School nowadays are not teaching important work skills anymore. Heck, I can say the same about college now. They just pile a bunch of book work on you, and you learn absolutely nothing in the end. The education system should be a lot more hands on if they actually want productive workers.

I don't mind homework at all. If it's there to help me practice, I'm totally fine. The problem is that, we need more than just homework to do better. Like in math, even if you get an A in math, it's definitely possible to suck at physics. Why? Because, you don't get the proper practice. >.> At least college does a better job, yet still a lot of work.

When I first went to college, I struggled to be able to play fast like the other pianist. I spend pretty much the entire first semester practicing with a metronome and learning many techniques just to try to get better. Some of those techniques were playing the fast songs in staccato. It really helps with accuracy and to strengthen those fingers. xD So I admit, I'm not a prodigy. I had to work super hard. xD

Well, playing any instrument at a high level is hard work. I find it sad that some people don't see the time that musicians put in their skills. That's why I never say that Hannah Montana sucks, or any other random singer/composer/musician.
They put a lot of work into what they did, it's just that I don't really like it, but I still think I have to appreciate what they did to be able to make that and that they actually made it...

My lack of sleep is really affecting the ability for my brain to function properly. I feel like a robot...programmed to play piano for hours. :P

College is finally bombarding me with a butt load of homework. I already practice 4+ hours a day. Wow...I can't believe I still go on this forum! xD

I only have like about 2 hours of free time today. I thank my mother for taking away the other 3 I had before.

I go college tomorrow, that means an extreme change in lifestyle. Instead of 1 p.m, I wake up at 6 a.m. Instead of sitting by a computer at home facebooking, I sit in a classroom facebooking. Instead of watching tv, I do homework. Instead of a crappy out-of-tune piano, I practice on a decent Kawaii. :) Not too bad if you think about it.:D

I know what you mean. School, which starts on the 9th for me, will change my lifestyle, too. Instead of waking up early to watch my brothers, I'll have to wake up even earlier in order to sleep on a bus. Instead of making myself toast, or sometime kraft dinner, for myself, I'll be buying a muffin for lunch. Instead of spending a portion of my time learning interesting things, especially Japanese, Writing and Programming, I'll be making up for that lost sleep time in class.
It...
