this is just common sense it goes with all electronics with firmware updates not just wii you you never unplugg most of the nad consoles out there are prob from people doing this.

The Reason I am Waiting till December to get a Wii U: I am waiting till Nintendo fixes the bugs and kinks out of the Wii U first before I buy it because I knew that It will be broken on Launch Day.

@ "Viral Light" you can have the fastest car in the world but if your stuck behide a slow moving car you cant go anywhere. Flash is fast but something in the wii u is slowing it down.

If anyone is having trouble finding a Wii U today, use the store locator for Target or In-Store Pickup for Walmart. The Target store locator tells you what targets in your area have a Wii U in stock. In-Store Pickup for Walmart is where you can order a Wii U online and you can pick it up at the walmart you put in during the ordering process.

Yup, my Target had plenty. I went at 7:20AM and I got in by 8. There were a lot of people on the line, and we all got one, and there were also extra. SO HAPPY I GOT ONE WITHOUT PRE-ORDER!
