Welp, just spent an hour or hour and a half in Sonic Boom. Lots of exploring, which is actually interesting to a point. Switching between characters is nice. Combat is not complex but this certainly is without a doubt an entirely new take on what Sonic is all about.

It almost feels like Mario 64 in a way, regarding the levels/areas and the platforming/exploration seems to mimic that in some aspect.

It's ok. Has an epic mickey look and feel too. Like a mish mash of that. It's a lot of exploring and such. Although the parts running on water were pretty cool so far.

I really had high hopes for the game to be a Sonic Adventure 3. From what i have been hearing it's Sonic for kids.

I think even a child would get a bit bored with it. It just lacks that pacing and fun you would hope to expect

Fortunately, for a lot of companies, kids just aren't bored easily. If not, many companies would have never made licensed games! :)
Hope the Sonic Boom game can live off of the series success.

Just watched a vídeo showing the bad framerate, i honestly thought the vídeo had a problem because it was full of hiccups.
Unity will be remembered as the BF4 of 2014!
