So nice to finally be able to run my songs on FL studio without a hint of lag without even using ASIO4ALL. I can even run chrome at the same time. Life has regained it's meaning and beauty :')

I think I just lost an hour and a half of work thanks to FL Studio. I literally had just said "I'm really really happy with that" and then was greeted with an error message. Think I'm actually in shock.

what headset did you have before? I had Sony MDR-V300 then ATH-ES7 I got 50% off. then decided to buy ATH-M50 over the ear.

Had the monoprice 8323's but upgraded about a year ago to the NVX XPT-100's (Fisher Audio FA-005 remakes).
I just mean they're not "studio" because their EQ is blanced. there's definite boosting going on already. Like I said still detailed just not balanced.
Also as far as I know, it's not recommended you boost frequencis with EQ. Like you said it distorts sound. Pull the other frequencies down and you'll get a similar effect without the distortion.

I know, I only boost it to a degree I'm happy with. Also EQ on my phone and mp3 player, I always do! I have not heard of those headsets, looks good though. ATH M50 is my first over the ear (not counting turtle beach).
