As far as I know it separates them. Don't get mad at me if I'm wrong though.

*Shrugs* Just trying to decide if I should just go all-in and have the BL2 stuff to trade, or if that one BL1 DLC campaign is locked in the same code as the BL2 stuff

Seems to be spereate due to the fact that some dlc for the games are under higher tiers.

i'm glad "killing" isn't the main objective in splatoon but i would like to see a "splatmatch" mode in the future. Deathmatch with a Nintendo twist

should be done like COD, the mode where you have to collect the dog tags for the kill to count. If you splat the other inkling, you should have to collect their soul. haha

Sadly nope, that ended yesterday at 11:59PST. You can't redeem the codes you got from CN either anymore I believe.
