You really don't understand pinball at all. You should indeed skip this and play something else.
About the salesmodel, sure it's confusing but they need a platform to showcase all tables. Should they release all the tables as separate games?

I enjoy pinball

as a fun game to play while I'm at round tables.

And with the sales model, if your arguing that pinball tables can cost $3 for the amount of "value" they have, then how come I can pick up Cave Story for FREE or get MegaMan X Street Fighter for FREE. And those dont require you to spend extra money. they have actual gameplay too. AAALLLSO if you want to argue with games you have to pay for, how come I can pick up HL2 for $2.50 on some steam sales? That game lasts me 12 hours. I also can enjoy a story and uniqe gameplay. I play my games for story and gameplay. Do you know what zen pinball 2 has? neither of those last time I checked.

I'm confused now. Are you trolling me? You like pinball games.....yet you play games for story and gameplay....then you ask me what Zen has?

I like pinball games for what they are, and If you play the tables a bit longer you'll find that they have stories and gameplay too.

If you like cheap or free games you shouldn't be playing the WiiU. And on WiiU I payed 10 for Cave Story, where on the WiiU did you get it for free. We are talking WiiU here after all.

Uhh first of all cave story isnt on wii u

second of all WiiU isnt the only way I get my gaming mix

I play stuff on PC. Does that make it an excuse for developers to release over expensive games? If Zen tables had a pack of 10 tables for $10 maybe I would look into it, but as it stands $3 for one is damn overpriced!

This thread has given me the need to both try, and avoid Zen Pinball again. When I first tried it, I didn't notice a single thing like the RPG elements that were mentioned earlier in this thread. It was just pinball.

Just try Epic Quest. It saves the stats of your knight for the next round. You can buy better weapons and armour during the game. You have to beat 12 enemies. Gather 4 magic scrolls and save up for some health potions. With combinations Sword attacks and defending you can beat the enemies. Both they and you have health. You can even gather magic fire/ice armour. Once you beat all the enemies you must save the princess from the dragon. I just love this table. I needed at least 2 hours to understand this table its mechanics but then it becomes more fun by the minute. My highscore is around 94 million
