This guy has several good ideas for Zelda Wind Waker HD's gameplay. Watch it!

Saw this earlier, looks really cool for a fan mock-up. I would never use the touch screen controls, though, but the items on the GamePad is an essential.

many people will most likely disagree with me on this, but i think the tingle tuner should stay on the 3ds, it would be a true remake that way imo

I could go for that

This definitely looks interesting. Nintendo would be pretty foolish to not at least include the Remote + Nunchuck control scheme. I'm not sure how popular the touchscreen controls would be, though.

Exactly what I was thinking. I messaged him and I am waiting for a response.

Probably a YouTube video on the gamepad and a direct recording for the main screen. I dunno. :P

This is really cool!

Looks like he set up a server and streamed the video to the Wii U from his computer.... Looks like a lot of work and good timing went into it though!

He told me this:

Hi,

Footage pre-rendered and streamed off the screen (using a Wii Video streamer) :) Syncing was an absolute nightmare though, but got there in the end!

This was nicely done, I think it woud be interesting if Nintendo implemented the items idea. However, I would defenetly need a faster way to bring out my items.

Just two separate recordings

Even so you still have to line up the timelines exactly.

Thanks! And I actually appreciate the effort he put on this mockup.

True, but there is video and animation software for that. I do think it was much work and done very nicely.
