You may have heard of this before. Basically it uses EEG brain impulses to send instructions to the computer which can translate them into commands. It's mainly being tested to help quadriplegics move their wheelchairs

 

I used one of these suckers at a games convention quite a while ago and it was quite freaky, the demo was basic you could point in a direction with your mouse, but move backwards and forwards just by thinking about it. Levitating the mouse pointer over a 3D cube I could pick it up, rotate and throw the cube with my mind almost like using the force.

 

Since then I've checked videos and it seems things have progressed so much that there is a hacking community trying to adapt this for use with PC and Linux games.

 

I read somewhere (need to find the link) that Nintendo had invested money into this kind of technology, but obviously it isn't quite at the stage where you can sit back and just do whatever you want with your mind. However what do you think of the technology?
