I am not a big COD player but recently I have been switching control schemes to see what suits me best. The great option of Wii U supporting multiple controller options is totally overlooked by many "reviewers" out there.
I thought I'd try Wii Remote and Nunchuck on Black Ops expecting to get owned and possibly frustrated. I did but the fun factor was through the roof, I say everyone should give Wii Remote a chance with this game it's so much more satisfying getting kills and accuracy is 100x more than any controller.
I then spent 20 minutes or so customizing sensitivity, camera controls and button layouts and played well every match after. This is my suggestion where I am most comfortable, others may differ but let me know what you think.
A - Aim down scope.
B - Fire weapon
Z - Sprint
C - Stand/Crouch/Prone
Minus - Flash grenade
Plus - Frag grenade
Dpad Up - Jump
Dpad Down - Switch weapon
Dpad Right - Scorestreak
2 Button - Scorecard
Shake Nunchuck - Reload
Swipe Wiimote left or right - Knife melee
