Just buy a external harddrive... not so hard is it.

Not exactly practical either. We shouldn't have to buy an external hard drive and Nintendo should have included a larger standard hard drive rather then going with the smaller more expensive flash memory.

There are some people (btw one of them is me) that think having a £50 cheaper console with a optional choice of getting a more storage is better then buying the console for £360. Because i am never going to be able to fill 32GB. What am i going to fill it with? games on the eshop have low memory, i buy all my games on a disk, and a saved game is only a few hundred KB.

lhKtSmX.png?2 Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

First of all I suspect you're in the minority considering how many people choose to download retail games some of which are huge like AC III and Lego City. Also there is no way a standard 2.5" HD is going to add that much to the cost. For the small amount more they could have added significant capacity. Maybe what they should have done is released the basic with the 8GB NAND storage and the deluxe with a larger standard hard drive.

Patience... there is a possibility that Nintendo will be adding a Nintendo GameCube Virtual Console (and a Wii U GCN Controller) along with Genesis, Turbo Grafx-16, etc.  This Summer, they're planning on adding NES, Super NES, and Game Boy Advance VC games at the eShop.
