when will this be available and working in the uk getting a bit annoyed that its just a useless icon on the menu what does it even do.

I heard we are getting the feature in summer but like pretty much everything else it won't be rushed out,unlike the console was...

I'm one of those people who like talking about what I'm watching while I'm watching it.

I'm looking forward to it, I just hope we don't get a Japanese version (just tv guide) and get a decent version with the social aspects the americas get.

Beyond that who knows.

I'm sure they'll have a direct or something, probably get Johnathon Woss involved no doubt *eyeroll*

I really want it and I want BBCiplayer, ITV and 4OD as well as some kind of deal with virgin media and their TVio

 its more of a microsoft trick but i'm half expecting it maybe because of tv licensing laws in the uk being quite strict or some othe legal mumbo jumbo.

Anyway, this isnt "just TV", like Penguin said we want things like iPlayer, Sky Player, ITV player,  and 4OD and I'd rather use these apps on my HD TV than on my laptop. Tvii could just be all of these features together in one place.

Apps would be nice but Iplayer and all the others work fine in browser. Must admit i didn't think about the stupid tv licence.

I've got the BBC iPlayer, 4OD, ITV etc. on my iPad as well as my PS3, Xbox 360 and Mac which are all connected to my TV so personally I'm not bothered. I'm also happy using my Sky box directly with my TV rather then having to turn on my Wii U just to use its services so again I'm not bothered. To mr its a trivial issue and it baffles me why other people get so bent out of shape because its not available here. I don't see a lot of people in the US talk about it on forums so I would be surprised if its used much over there anyway.

I don't like when he talks about games.

And I don't really find him funny otherwise either.

 

I wonder if it'd be too much to ask Nintendo to have Irish On Demand apps, at least we'll get netflix...
