A while back, Team Meat said that if Meat Boy were to appear in the next Smash Bros. game, that Meat Boy would likely see life on Nintendo’s newest consoles. Now another publisher has said a similar thing in order to get a game on the Wii U. Phil Fish, the creator of Fez, tweeted that in order for Fez to appear on the Wii U, Nintendo would have to fund and port the game themselves:
the only way a FEZ WII U port could happen is if nintendo paid for and handled the port themselves. which i highly doubt will ever happen.
Is this just the beginning of a cycle of developers wanting Nintendo to do more work for more games on the Wii U?
