Hey all, I'm having trouble playing Multiplayer (Black Ops 2) online.  Me and my friend want to play in a game together online.  He will use the Wii U Pro Controller and I will use the Gamepad.  For some reason, the system only lets us have one of the controllers synced at the time in Black Ops 2 (Gamepad or Pro Controller).

Can I use both at the same time?  Am I missing something?

Thanks!

You can use both. Try all of the options, I've experienced your problem, it isn't really clear how you can play but its possible.

Thanks for the response.  It doesn't say anything.  It just turns the opposite controller off. Only one is synced at a time.  We tried going into the menu to sync them both, but it only lets us account for the pro controller (or none).  That said, the Gamepad stays synced, but once we use it, the Wii U Pro unsyncs.

When your first at multiplayer menu you just press start on the pro controller and sign them in as guest.

When your first at multiplayer menu you just press start on the pro controller and sign them in as guest.

If you both have Nintendo Network accounts on the same console, you should also have the option to have player-two sign in under their account rather than simply as a guest. We do that all the time so we can both rank up while we play.

Typically, she will use the wiimote-and-nunchuck set up on the TV while I play on the gamepad. Not needing to split the screen is fantastic.

That doesn't indicate whether more then one controller can be used at the same time in local or online multiplayer. It only tells you which controllers are supported.
