With a new president and plan coming into the company, perhaps Square can rebound on its low sales of Dragon Quest X for the Wii U, which only sold 33,000 units in its first week of release in Japan. This may, however, be connected with the Wii version of the game, which was released last year. Perhaps those who already own the game on the Wii console simply didn’t see a reason to repurchase the game.
