Activision has confirmed a May release for Fast & Furious: Showdown, the upcoming game to tie-in with Fast & Furious 6.

 

The game will feature two-player co-op where players will compete in high-stakes driving missions. The game also boasts the ability to switch between the roles of driver, gunman, tacticians and daredevil.

 

Fast & Furious: Showdown is expected to release alongside the film in May on PS3 and Xbox 360, or a month before the film's release in Australia.

 

When EB first listed Fast & Furious: Showdown on its site, WIi U was included, however the media release makes no mention of the game coming to Nintendo's latest console.

To coincide with the confirmation of its release, Activision has revealed the first three images of the game.

It's coming to Wii U, media release is garbage, they just want to shovel this to ps360 owners... maybe a saving grace for Wii U owners who don't realize it will be coming out since this game could be trashy.. time will tell. I bought and like Walking Dead, it's a fun game and not top notch graphically... overall it's fun though. I might give this a chance...

Not really a blow to the Wii U at all, it looks like it's mostly just shovelware it is a movie tie-in game after all, errrrr helllooo. And yes before anyone asks I am a HUGE fan of the movies.

If it is like the arcade games it will get a lot of sales. And it's perfect for Wii U. Whenever I'm at an arcade I hear kids saying I wish I could play this at home.

Nintendo has their act together, they are giving free devkits out to third party developers, something they apparently started before there was a sales issue.

No it doesn't. It only needs the quality ones which there really should be more of. Games like this have no place on any console as they just devalue it and end up giving it a bad reputation like all the rubbish shovelware games on the Wii.

This problably will be as much of a trashbin-game as The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct but it would be good to see some actual gameplay from it.

But i guess theres a reason that Activision arent showing any.

 

It seems to come with a budget pricetag so i might be interested but i will wait until the Youtube vids starts coming out.
