Woah. That's a lot. Nintendo needs to improve their advertising, I haven't even seen a Wii U advert since the day it came out.

Im sure they have heard more than enough people complain about the lack of advertisement they will probably sort out something soon. I just hope it's enough because one ad every so often won't cut it.

Its not a lot in the grand scheme of things. If I recall Microsoft spent $500,000,000 ( that's half a billion ) marketing and promoting the Xbox 360.
Somewhere around there, and I think that was the initial ad push. They've probably spent upward of 1bn at this point.
