I put a 500GB hard drive on my Wii U, but now have a 250GB available which is more than enough for the Wii U. I could use the 500GB for Video storage etc, so would rather replace my 500GB on the Wii U with the 250GB HD. Anyone know if there is a way to move my downloaded games and saves from one HD to the other. (500 to 250)?

Thanks

Nope.

Not possible, sorry. You'll have to re-download everything you have on your HDD, unfortunately.

It really sucks.

If you try to fail and succeed, which have you done?

Plug them both in, and use data management to transfer.
Nintendo updated the system to handle multiple hard drives shortly after launch.

The reason its like this is to stop hackers from placing software into the wii u and such. otherwise you would be able to do it freely.

lhKtSmX.png?2 Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

It'd be much more complex than that, but the more barriers, the better for Nintendo.
