I recently discussed “Mewthree” with Marriland, Archaic, Firestorm, and NintendoFanFTW.

The Pokémon Company has spoken with MCV UK and shed some light on what 2013 means for the great RPG franchise, Pokémon:

Undoubtedly 2013 is a key year for us to grow and usher in a new era for Pokémon with Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and the introduction of new characters as the launch platform.

We believe these games will appeal to all generations both veterans and newcomers to Pokémon.

Pokémon: Scramble U is currently in development for the Wii U, and is sure to help the franchise in 2013, although its release has yet to be announced outside of Japan.

With the introduction of Pokémon X and Y and Pokémon: Scramble U how big do you think 2013 is going to be for the Pokémon series?

Special thanks to Marriland, webmaster of Marriland, Archaic, webmaster of Bulbagarden, Firestorm, webmaster of Nugget Bridge, and NintendoFanFTW of YouTube for their contributions to my Pokemon Podcast, The Elite Four.
