In a recent interview with Game Informer, Deep Silver COO Geoff Mulligan explained why he and his company don’t plan on having support for Nintendo’s latest console:
With Wii U, the Nintendo market right now and their audience is not who we reach best. It’s not something we’re entertaining in the near or foreseeable future.
My problem with this is that the audience of Deep Silver isn’t going to pick up a system that doesn’t have Deep Silver’s games on it. It’s circular reasoning at its finest. A better translation is, “The Wii U doesn’t have our games because our audience doesn’t play our games on the Wii U, because the Wii U doesn’t have our games.”
What do you think of Deep Silver’s lack of Wii U support.
